Beating Legendary Souls: Phyrra's dash sidestep + A, B, K. Also grab them. They'll mostly fall for both of these moves. Took me less than 8 mins to finish this. First time was with Elysium and man it took me a whole hour to get this done.

How Legendary Souls went for me:

Kilik- took me like 30 minutes

Nightmare- took like 15 minutes

Seigfried- took me like 30 minutes

Cervantes- beat him on my first try so like 5 minutes

Elysium- took me 40 minutes cuz she spammed with that stab move

WeaponMaster- took me 2 hours I got lucky and he jumped out the ring twice and beat him out of sheer luck the third time

Algol- took me like 40 minutes because he loves ring outs

I beat it with Seigfried and it was the greatest moment of my life

I as well play with Siegfried and I'm finding it hard as hell to get anywhere near top 1000 or at least under 22 minutes to beat the Soul Calibur for dummies guy ovada lol :<.

It's the most difficult mode of the game offline, the first time I spent more than 1 hour to finish this. There are Kilik using Xiba style like in the video, Nightmare, Siegfried, Cervantes, Edge Master with alpha Patroklos style who is the worst of all in my opinion, Elysium with Omega Pyrrha style and finally Algol if I don't forget anyone.

What I find the most funny about this game is this:

In an article in a recent Xbox magazine issue (dunno which one, can't remember), it said that Project Soul actually admitted to taking Kilik's weapon style out/altering it with Xiba so then no one could go online and own everyone as (I quote) 'that long haired prick with the stick'. But the funny thing is they defeated the object of this change by locking the Xiba style on Kilik in Legendary Souls, which is 10x harder that Kilik was before.

My online record is 56-3, so I think I can safely say I'm above average as a player. I've played every game including Soul Blade. I have the fighting engine down to an art. I blaze through every mode its ever thrown at me, rarely had issues. But damn.... EDGE MASTER IS A FUCKER. I could rant all day about his repeated stuns. He starts and ill hold block the entire time, but my character doesn't get enough chance to hit the ground unstunned. Whatever :\ back to online.

And AI reading button inputs is cheap as hell. They should be fighting your character, not you touching your controller. Its cheap. Games shouldn't read what YOU are doing by breaking the rules. They should react to your character. That makes sense. That's fair. :\ I love the hell out of the Soul Calibur games, but this mode... ugh.

I'm all for a game being hard. Ninja Gaiden 2 was fantastic when it was tough. But Edge Master in LS was broken. Stun moves gets rid of half your health. He repeats it for the kill. You only get TWO chances to do ANHTHING the entire match. Broken. Kilik and Nightmare and all them before were HARD, but fun.

I'm fairly confident that I've got the longest play time on legendary souls than anyone else. I started playing it yesterday at 1pm. I haven't stopped. It's been 29 hours and I'm still on edgemaster. Beat kilik in under 20 minutes, maxed out the timer on all the others. I'm so tired. I can't keep playing, I'm giving up. Over 30 hours playtime on legendary souls. Wasn't even close. Fuck my life.

this is pretty solid. i haven't played the game yet and kilik has always been my favorite, it is disappointing that he does have xiba's moveset, they could've given him the same one as every other soul calibur or a newer one, but VERY great upload, that's a quality camera too.

@footman2374 I think the mimic characters don't alternate between styles in this mode. Elysium only uses Pyrrha's sword and shield, for instance; instead of randomly selecting the styles of other female fighters. I believe Edge Master only uses Alpha Patroklos style.
