@PeterHBne1 I'm 42. Normally I would say everyone to his own taste but not when it comes to obvious turkeys. If you like "Heaven's Prisoners" you have extremely bad judgement or just no concept or knowledge whatsover about film.

@MrRazorblade999 As i said, it is not perfect (in some parts it is cringeworthy) but there are way more many scenes that are genuinely brilliant. Like try the opening sequence with Baldwin in the church confessing. And I can assure you my knowledge of and taste in films is exceptional.

I never saw this movie. But just because they played Thrill is gone by B.B King- A.K.A God, I'm gonna watch this movie, just because they played that song:)

I love this movie. I like Eric Roberts in this film. Makes me want to drink a gin rickey. I think I tried to make one once, but it wasn't my thing actually. I'd rather have a jack and coke.

@rocketman6464 I agree....it's one of my favorite films, ever. T'was a great movie for all the actors as well. But alas, no Clete Purcell. Made me wanna pack & move to NOLA. I've read most of James Lee Burke's Novels: Shame they didn't make more films outta his books.
