What the hell was Thanatos on? Looking back, now I can play Oro... Jabs into command grab, that doesn't even combo. He spent like half the match looking for down parries. His five stone tengu combo was stupid and risky. And I have NO idea how that finishing tactic of "super jump, punch" worked. And between all this... he won.
Well, some stuff look stupid, but they work sometimes.. Jab into command grab doesn't combo, but if the opponent is not expecting it, the jab can fuck up what they tried to do and the command grab immediately hits them...
But then again just doing the command grab would be almost the same. I don't know :P Yeah, some people can do crazy illogical things that could in "pro" terms be considered stupid, but get away with it and win.
@ai2006b Thing is, the logical thing to do can be perceived by both players making the logical thing to do the least safe option. At these high levels of play, everything is taken into consideration. You have to mix things up in order to be effective.
@FatBowlsForBreakfast Well if the logical thing to do is the least safe option, then wouldn't the logical option be the most effective, since it is the least expected?
in sbo 08 dirty music got the biggest combo i've ever seen as he ocv one team. i forget how many hits but it was like 38 or something. best piece of gaming i've ever seen
it appears pino guessed incorrectly regarding thanatos' wake-up game w oro. is he going to jump towards your rising body to pull off the last 2nd 1-2stomp for the inf. or will he merely land to hit low, mid, or grab? safe play? either watch oro and decide when to safe roll or s.block and use your hand-eye reflexes to respond accordingly...crazy
Great match. Not often I c Pino losing a match. Pino has one of the best Necro's I ever seen. Oro did his thing. Much respect to both fighters though. Great video.
Damn! Nice match!

Wow! That was one of the best 3s matches I've seen yet. That third round was some of the zaniest Oro and Necro gameplay I've ever seen.

Thanatos is the craziest Oro ever.

Hehe, so true. To call him riskily unorthodox...
