  • Are the kicker cvx better then the cvr kicker the light grey ones.

  • @raydabarber7 yes, the cvr's are only 400watts rms (most of them) and the cvx are 750watts Rms

  • Where did you get your box? please answer ! >.<

  • Hey bro, I was wondering what amp your using if its a special edition and just please be specific as well as pricing and where I can buy it the only thing I know is that its a mono but how can you wire a mono to two subs i thought you can only do that with a 2 channel amp. Thanks

  • @kigen818 sorry to laugh but lol. I kno i kno im a hater. get over it

  • I'm tryna do 4 kicker comp 12s an a 1500W amp, any suggestions?

  • @yungkidnf

that would work, you can power your subs with as much power as you like, it just depends on how you tune the amp and everything

  • those subs cant bee 1600 max when there 1500rms together

  • were did you get the lights?

  • what song? nice!

  • sweet bro i got 2 concept subs wit the same exact specs goin to be runnin between 1500 and 1800 watts all the time a true 1500 or 1800 so we will see if i can beat this

  • There is no way that is 1600W, they are barely moving...

  • dude if you got it wired to 2 ohms then that amp is doin like 1100 watts. i got the same amp just an older model. do ya reserch first and dont sound dumb nxt time

  • @chrislj10 how about you do your research dick face. the newer hifonics models are cea compliant. meaning that they put out atleast what they say their rated at. notice they dont put 4000w max on their amps anymore. they put 2000w rms

  • is it me or do they look slightly outta phase?

  • all i can say bigger box fuck prefabs from bestbuy... bigger amp.. extra batt those will kick some high 140s

  • loose the pre-fab box..

  • your gonna blow your subs

  • @tcon32 Not with that amp! haha

  • Dynamat and u be straight

  • how are these compared to the kicker comp 12's

  • @The96sunfiregt comps are at the bottom of the list of kicker subs, CVX=circular L7

Hit up Kickers website, as far as circular subs go the CVX is the 2nd loudest next to the Solo X

  • @imjustakid22 cvx second loudest? wrong 15 l7 is loud then a cvx... just the sound quality is shitty on the l7 but very close....

  • louder***

  • @legitbass101 I said that the CVX is the circular equivalent of an L7. Damn people on youtube always just looking for a fight. And a correction. When I said solo X I meant solo Classic. The solo X's are square.

  • @The96sunfiregt depends on ur build and what you want out of them. the X's hold more power.

  • u can get neos for like 50 on streetglow

  • Dude my cvx r hooked up to a Rockford fosgate 10001bd....and urs dnt even move at all compared to mine...WTF is up with that

  • @MrBeaner4201 b/c u bd100 is actually getting the whole 1000 watts rms, the 1600 brutus is only getting about 700 of dirty power and thats a 1ohm. bet he's wored to four!

  • @Jtaylor216 i wouldnt say hifonics is that bad... its more efficient 4ohms just like any other amp is... lower the ohm the less efficient.....

  • I doing the same thing with my truck on the neon part. Except i'm going to be using white LED's and they are going to be hooked up to light up with the bass. I'm putting 2 single white leds under each seat, and then a 15" or 10" white led under the bench seat.

  • HAHA i have the same car but a 2000 gtp model even the same color and spoiler i have a soundstream rubicon 1000w amp and i was thinking of getting a kicker cvx or a 15" L5 which would you suggest the cvx 12 or the L5 15

  • Ur gonna die from carbon monoxide...You cant smell it, see it, or anything...and that garage door isn't enough to let the gases out...

  • kickers get no excursion

  • @csmccarty so what amplifier do you recommend. i have the dual 2 ohm 12s

  • @KrazyRMjumps 2000w rms @ 2ohm is what youll need only because you dont want your amp to have to run its hardest all the time so its allways good to have extra room so you can run it at about 3/4 which will be more efficient and have no distortion my amp runs 1000w @ 1ohm and 800w @ 2ohm so im only gonna get one cvx but build a ported box to 2.25 cubic feet of volume to get more bass out of it also since me and sk8tr5955 have the same car we both have a 1 1/2 by 1 foot fold down so more bass

  • @BassThoughts wht size amp should i get to power two of these

  • @11TurboDiesel at least 2000w rms so your not maxing out your amp and pushing out alot of distortion that will fry your subs but to be honest go to Ficaraudio . com and get two 12" ssd's they are 800w rms and will blow the cvx's out of the water plus they are cheaper than what you might spend for some new cvx's they are $200 each to buy and ship from las vegas to georgia where i live so they might even be less for you depending on where you live

  • @11TurboDiesel i actually just ordered two Fi audio subs im just waiting for them to ship go and check out the site or even sound solutions audio (they make sundown audio) i would much rather own Fi audio or ssa audio than kicker

  • will a hifonics BXi1210D push these 2 subs?

  • @KrazyRMjumps decently but not full potential

  • whats the amp

  • its a 1600 watt amp NOT 3200 why do ppl say double what it really is?

  • get some dynamate and your good

  • do they hit the lows good for 12s?

  • @31TATE Yes 12's hit lows well

  • @HeavyChevyBoy95 well i have 12s right now but theyre Rockford P1s and they dont hit hard o the lows

  • @31TATE Oh well this is just my opinion but i've never been impressed by RF subs, their amps and shit are nice but i don't like their subs, i have a single 10" Kicker L7 in a SEALED box, and it hits lows very well for a 10, lol it makes my whole truck rattle

  • @HeavyChevyBoy95 yea well my parents just bought me those.. im getting rid of those and getting cvxs i think

  • @31TATE Good choice, kicker is a pretty good brand and pretty damn good subs

  • @31TATE Any sub hits lows.. just tune ur amp so it can hit the lowz

  • what kind of box is that

  • get bigger amp.. push them to the limit.. they look like there under powered.

  • @nunucpt Yes because the roof flexing and making a phone jump off it means their underpowered

  • @HeavyChevyBoy95 my fuckin stock subs does that!! ill put a 4000 watt to them CVX.. i have 2 CVR 12s with a 4000 watt amp and it hits way harder than this

  • @nunucpt Well thats cool

  • i just recently swapped my s15 l7 (bout 2 years old) for two of these, they are wired at one ohm, what amp should i get?

  • Dats a monoblock amp right?

  • whats the name of this song?!?!

  • what car is that ?

  • Comment removed

  • aannnnnddddd why is there smoke?????

  • @Boomyurblown Exaust

  • just need a few neons in tha trunk

  • i can't fit ported in my trunk:(((((((

  • Dude thats a 1600 watt max load its not actually running at the full 1600...

  • Suppose Im asking why you have a 1600 watt load on those, being they are 750rms each and and that totals to 1500... Guess the point im makin is that in my experience you should run your sub about 50 watts below rms for full time run, helps the coils last longer... anyways i love em and i just bought one today!

  • @LoudSide20 other things factor too, when you look at the data sheets for the subs they can handle different amounts of wattage depending on the box there in, sometimes they can only handle half as much watts if they are in too small of a ported box, or too large of a sealed box, but overall you can use it as a guide, I put mine in a box that was right between the recommended, its 3.7 for each subwoofer chamber for the 15 inch cvx's, I got 2 of em

  • @LoudSide20 dude i have my two cvx 12s on a kicker zx2500.1 running at 1 ohm and i have had them daily bumpin for over a year and there is absolutely nothing wrong with them lol.

  • @cmdspfam5 u lying kicker zx are not 1 ohm stable

  • @MassivePerformance29 you are an idiot then...because the 2006 zx series are indeed 1 ohm stable. they are dual 4 ohm cvx 12s running parallel on my 2006 zx2500.1.....1 ohm!!! therefore, yes, they are one ohm stable

  • @LoudSide20 kicker amps are underrated by 20-80 watts rms kicker subs are underrated they cant take alot more power than what there rated for i tryed blowing a pair of comp Vr 12's (500 watts RMS) with a 1500 watt mtx amp and they never blew so i hooked each sub up individually and it took almost a hour per sub to blow them just fyi not picking a fight but if there kicker turn the amp up higher lol u will not hurt them unless they aren't wired correctly

  • @vivala4141 i agree kicker makes some good shit!! i tryed blowing an old ass comp with 380rms and it took it like a champ!! until i held the cone in lol

  • I got 3 of these subs pushed by a Hifonics Brutus BXI 2010d amp in a custom built box

  • thaz sounds real good bro do it big

  • is it a 3200 watt amp or a 1600 cause it says 1600 on it...

  • nah 1600. prollly like 1300 at most hifonics overrates their amps

  • prolly 3200 max and 1600 rms at 2 ohms

  • Awsome subs get a new amp that can push them to thier limit 750 rms per sub

  • your going to die, lol your exhaust just pumping garage full ol, ohwell at least u got a little vent

  • @fordmusclef150 No thats how cold it is outside...

  • I would turn them around. I have a tiburon and when i had my two Fosgate 12's they rattled the shit out of my trunk until i turned them around and put the seat down

  • im putting 2 of these amps on these 2 audiobahn immortal 15s, i got the two subs for 250 total and each amp is gonna be 150 pretty sick deal, each sub is 5000 watts

  • hypnotize- young jeezy

  • these subs are 750 watts rms each, so i say a 1600 watt rms amp would be pretty fucking loud, and i have that same box with 2 12 inch kicker CVRs and its falling apart, new box man

  • is that 1600 watts per sub ?

  • what is the box tuned at?

  • nice amp! ok subs

  • to all you bass adicts out there i need some advice...i just got a silverado 4 door and i want some fuckin bass. i kno i have to put it under the back seat and all that but how? do i have a company do it or can i do it? wut should i go with? im willing to spend $700 in grand total for it and im gonna get the subs of ebay to save money.... wut kind should i get? wut kind of amp?

  • if you want pure sound quality go for some memphis shallow subs, but if you want some beat, you could check into the pioneer shallow series subs. i use to have some, you can check the video. they were really loud and seemed to sound pretty great. if you have no experience with installation, i would definately reccomend that you have a professional do it for you, cause its easy to mess stuff up. but sorry good luck getting anything good with that price range. save up and do it right. my motto

  • Well you can just buy a custom box enclouser made for a Chevy Silverado. Go to ebay and type in Chevy Silverado Subwoofer and somthing will probably come up. You should def. by 2 10 Kicker Cvx's or 2 12 Kicker Cvr's. Find out the wattage on both and buy a Hifonics Amp, there really good.

  • i have been watching videos of kickers on youtube but i have 2 07 kicker cvx 1500 watt hoked up to a 3200 watt legacy amp and mine aint bumpin my mirror all over the place and flexin my car.. Can some one give me any advise how to make em louder?

  • are you sure you have your rca cables to the right output on your head unit . cause some times there is two outputs and one is for highspeakers and one is for your bass. also if you amp isnt pushing enough that might be it . how many watts per chanel

  • only one problem with these subs and not everyone will agree with me but there so fucking heavy but they hit really hard!

  • nice lights, LED or neons? and whered you get em?

  • There neons and i got them at Auto Zone/O' Reillys

  • @BeAILsTaR13 Dude is lying, that amp is made wit the lights on it when you buy them cause i have the same hifonics amp as that one.

  • @MrJSU2010 i was talking about the ones in the footwells at the time.....

  • @BeAILsTaR13 o my bad i thought u was talking bout the amp

  • @MrJSU2010 haha its cool, i've ran hifonics amps.. well i have never used one in my instvall personally, but i have done a few builds using different hifonics amps for people

  • my step dad runs a hifonics bruts 2000 watt amp and he is running a 12" kicker cvx that speaker hits ima run a 3200 watt with 2 12s in a bandpass box a ysuggestions on if i should change anything

  • yeah i got a suggestion for you. unless you have a damn conversion van or somthing with alot of room dont run bandpass 4th order.. or 5th for that matter. go ported only... for two cvx's you will need about a 5 cubic foot box , slot port tuned to 32 hrts peaking at 43 hrts or so depending on the acoustics of the car. slot port around 4-5 inches wide. get a good amp to give them around 750 rms a peice. you would be straight.

  • sounds good but u cheating the speakers u got a 3200 watt hifionics wit 2 cvx's u suppose to blow the damn trunk off....get another box built for them subs not just a regular 12 box....u'll see the difference your car would too.....

  • Notice how he said 1600 watt load. But yeah....About a 5.3 cuft box would be much better.

  • question anyone. i just got a single cvx 12 2ohm with a box

    now i need a amp would a hifonics BXi 1206d over power it??? * 1 ohm: 1200 watts x 1 channel * 2 ohms: 900 watts x 1 channel * 4 ohms: 450 watts x 1 channel

    any suggestions

    someone please reply

    preciate it

  • GRAND PRIX REPRESENT

  • u need a bigger box for them subs.

  • that box must be tuned 2 high if ur car isnt flexing either that or that box is jus plain shit

    prefabs FTL!

if u get a box thats made for those subs then it'll be alot louder

  • it rattles so much because its fuckin cold!

  • mAN these people are stupid stop pretending you know everything and keep your shit to your self

  • can i take that hifonics off your hands?? dont need the kicks,

  • ill take the cvx's in the box then

  • is this amp bridgeable?

  • yes it is

  • LOL no its not its a Hifonics 1608d mono block(Mono means 1, means not bridgeable). Puts out 1600 watts at 1 ohm and 1100 watts at 2 ohms.

  • teckniec2 is right. That is a mono-amp, i bought to buy it....

  • to much rattle. but nice soundin cvxs

  • HOW DID U GET THE LIGHTS INSIDE

  • Neon bars from checker auto
