Raw Foods!! Woohooo! Wheat, meat, dairy, and sugar are killing the human race. If their rotting colons could talk they would absolutely beg for raw organic foods.
@21kazama as long as you only ate a vegan diet that was not contaminated by farm animal fecal wastes there shouldn't be a problem eating all raw foods. But even if you ate all raw foods your body would still have to break down the proteins and enzymes into amino acids before the cells of your body could use them for human protein synthesis. There is not one animal on the Earth that uses the proteins of another without breaking them down first, because each species has different DNA & proteins.
I agree this video has incomplete & possibly misleading information. Even if you ate all raw foods, your body would have to break down all the proteins and enzymes in your raw fruits & vegetables into their amino acids. There is not one animal on the planet that uses the proteins & enzymes it eats without breaking them down first. Yes cooking foods can alter some of the molecular structures, but as long as enough amino acids go unaltered we can use them to produce our body's needed proteins.
That would work except that like almost all proteins, enzymes, cooked or uncooked, are digested and broken down to amino acids and di and tri peptides before being absorbed. This video contains a smidgeon of truth but is mostly misleading or false information.
@feb0221 we can only get amino acids, lipids, and sugars from our food. Our bodies break down - digest - everything we eat before the cells of our bodies use the component parts to build our cells according to the instructions in our DNA molecules. Be careful, The "What are Enzymes" video contains misleading information. You cannot get enzymes directly from our food, but can use the amino acids they contain. Eat raw fruits & vegetables as much as you can & whole natural foods cooked very lightly

Great video. I guess it is more beneficial to ones health by eating organic vegetables and eating them raw. Thanks for posting!
