I just bought an 06 tC manual and I love it!!! I LOVE the sound of your car!! How much did it cost to get the intake and exhaust? and where can i find the carbon fiber interior? and the shift nob?

@Lite1201 Yes, it's a scanner. And it just depends what your price range is. If you buy them cheap, they're probably gonna fail you. A decent one will cost at least $150. But it's better than a ticket.

@Lite1201 I think you're thinking of radar jammers. Scanners aren't illegal (at least where I'm located they aren't). All they do is beep whenever it detects a cop radaring in your area.

I have the TRD exhaust on my '11 TC and it sounds amazing! I'm looking into getting the Intake and when the turbo comes out, i'm gonna have that put in too!

@famoushot21 No, it gives me a little better gas mileage...it’s mostly for sound lol. The only way to get power out of the tc is turbo or supercharger. All the other crap might give u a little better performance but nothing huge hp wise.

does driving stick ever get annoying? i drove my friends 5speed prelude and i loved it but my dad keeps telling me im gonna hate it eventually.. i dnt ever drive in heavy city traffic most i ever drive is 20 minutes down a 12 miles stretch of somewhat busy road and thats maybe twice a week, otherwise its all local driving. just asking your opinion

@garlikchips082493 I love driving manual...I will probably never get another automatic...its really annoying in heavy traffic otherwise it’s a blast...plus with a manual u have more control in bad weather , and u can make more power in the long run because the manual can handle it over the auto trans

@hillsy892009 I would just save up and get an STI lol....im getting one ASAP. but to be honest if i could chose again I would have gotten a 4 door si. two doors suck when u have allot of people, but I have owned this car for almost 2 yrs now and it’s been great almost 60,000 miles I have put on the car since I bought it new and no problems very reliable and fun to drive. It’s not a race car it’s not that fast but it gets the job done.

@bullet1224 Double clutching is useless unless your downshifting into a corner, or hauling a load in a truck. Fast and the Furious blew that way out of porportion. While people are trying to double clutch on an upshift, the people who know how to drive are already into their next gear and pulling away.

I shift the same way as u in my 07. But I also shift without the clutch, plus I never heard of ruining the trans by simply leaving ur had on the shifter.

i got the TRD exhaust and injen intake used from Scion life.  got the intake for 140.... and the exhaust for 150... keep ur eye out for good deals on the form cause those kinda things u dont need to buy brand new..

and the injen SRI was not hard to put in... but if u want to go with the CAI its a pain to get lined up without scratching the crap out of the pipe... i just run the SRI cause i dont wan2 have to worry about sucking in water.

the SRI is easy.......but getting the sec pipe in the fender is a pain but well worth it at the end sounds sick and you can feel it screaming at you
