no, you're born with it. Generally people with longer fingers will play bass because of the wider neck, but it really shouldn't make a huge difference

@DontEverJudgeMe666 That is a fucking MusicMan! One of the best quality basses ever made. It's either a Stingray or a Sterling, I can't tell. They're essentially the same instrument but the Sterling is like, one tier under the Ray.

I said I didn't use tabs, do you mean those aren't the right "notes", that's a word musicians use sometimes. It is right, listen to it again, maybe your ear isn't up to par, check it out. Johnny is playing single notes for the intro part.
