@georgemcurious Yeah... I do. I fund out what happened. My friend who was trying to help updated the firmware to the most recent one at the time which precluded me from being able to put an older OS on it. I ended up having to take it to a phone store where they did it for 50 dollrs... honestly... if I had known what a pain in the ass it was going to be I would have originally done that. What they did is they installed the software for the ipad, jail broke it, and then it worked just fine.

I need help. I tried inserting a T-Mobile SIM card into my iPhone 3GS running 3.1.2 jailbroken with Blackra1n and unlocked with ultrasn0w. The network worked fine and I had the carrier logo on the top left hand corner. I took the SIM card out for a while, and now when I insert it back in, it does not say T-Mobile in the top left hand corner like it did before. It just displays the Wi-Fi bars and the network signal bars. how can I fix this?

I think the new iphones come with the latest software version 3.1.3 and so far I have not found someone that can jailbreak/unlock that version. I have the 3G version 3.1.2 - firmware 05.11.07 and was able to jailbreak/unlock it. If I plug it in to my computer and accept to upgrade the software (itunes opens up and asks) my iphone will have the latest software (3.1.3) but it will get locked to work only on AT&T.

I have the same exact phone...3GS... I jailbroke and unlocked it last night to use with t-mobile USA. Everything worked fine, except a few hours later, the speaker just stopped working. I hear sound through the headphone, but nothing through the speaker. I tried inserting the headphone in and out of the jack several times like some people suggested, didn't work. I blew air into it, didn't work. I even restored the original factory setting, didn't work either. Anyone had this problem?
