Thanks For making this Video )The Hand) :) ha cool
I bought a new iMac the July 2010 model release near the ned of August and found most if not all my gear was cool or had Snow Leopard Drivers except my A/I (it was one of my first buys when I started recording so had a good run, anyways, this A/I is at the top of my list and You made it very understandable, Thanks!
lol I love "The Hand" credit. Anywho, just one little complaint and one quick question. Complaint: I wish you'd had your levels set better so we could've gotten even a vague sense of fidelity - as is, what you recorded was almost inaudible. Question: Does this interface w/ the new (open) ProTools 9?
Hi Bobby, thanks for the video. Is it possible to route the stereo out with an insert to cubase on the I-ONIX?
say for example, I want to record this youtube video to a stereo track on cubase. I haven't been able to find the option so far. Appreciate your help.
Hi, I just purchased the u22 interface. I was using other interface units over the years and found the Lexicon to be the best in every respect! I'm running Snow leopard in my new iMac 21.5": with 8 gigs RAM and Logic 9. The only problem I'm having is the u22 is driving my CPU's up the wall. I never had this problem before I got the u22.
I've checked all connections and all seems fine. Do you have any idea why this is happening?
Thanks, you can email me if you have some time xbobgx@gmail.com

I have a good question, does the I-onix overheat like the omega lexicon, that is a problem I have now with my omega. I had to install a fan on the case to keep it cool.smh can u say "warranty voided"?
Excellent video. I was just wondering what the clip indicator is like on this unit. Is it shown in the LED segment or if it has a separate clip light?
Hi, I play in a band and i want indivdual tracks for each instrumnet. Could a speratly record on each channel using cubase or samplitude? pref. samplitude!
Hi.Bobby. Thanks for this info. I recently bought the Lex I.ONIX U22. gave the Tascam US 122L-44 sound card, I was told the Lex was a better option as i was not getting my recordings done clear enough. Problem is , i'm not getting the drivers loaded automatically, nothing happens automatically! Not sure what i'm doing wrong!
I havent loaded the software on a mac, but it should work. However, it won't load automatically. You need to walk through the steps to load the software (if desired) and drivers as we have to in the demo. If you need more help, let me know.
i am looking to get this mainly to record drums. with the software it comes with would i be able to see all 4 mics in 4 individual channels so i can mix it better and could i add reverb and compression to the drums with cubase le4?
Hey good video I just got this unit a couple days ago and I cannot get ANY sound. I plug in my guitar and hit record and the progress bar just moves and records nothing or the progress bar will move for 2 or 3 seconds and then just stop! Also, when I put my mic into Line 1 there is no sound, but when I put the mic in Line 2 there IS sound without changing anything. So, I put the mic in Line 2 and tried to record like you did in the video and got nothing. Any help would be great!
We had connected both S/PDIF, and Analog to listen to the difference on the JBL LSR's. If your monitors don't support digital in, then analog is the only way to go.
Thank you for this video! It helped tremendously! And to make it better that is the same computer i'm setting up my DAW so its nice to know that everything went smoothly! Thats freakin awesome thank you!
compatible with logic?

I got completely lost on routing inputs and outputs...
"For each channel we've created?"
What is that? When did you do that in the video?
Where is the device port? Where is mic line 1?

Make sure you are record enabling the tracks, and that you have the inputs mapped correctly. We do this around 5:30 in the video.
