I honestly think there could have been a better choice for Secretary of Treasury. I'm a Democrat but if I was a U.S. Senator, I probably would have voted against his confirmation. And If I was Obama I probably would have gone with Warren Buffet. I like pretty much all of Obama's other picks though regardless of some of them having tax problems.

Trust me i know his economics is out of wack. He is starting to look more and more like a wall street puppet. As far as this election was concerned it was a joke. Both parties are worthless at this point.

As for goverment spending i'm for smart goverment spending of tax dollars and Obama's plans as well as Bush's these bailouts goes against the core economic practices of capitalism. I seriously doubt this president will ever touch on healthcare reform or education. He is not a progressive.

Yeah, you are damn correct. Too bad noone sees that. There should be a friggin quiz before you vote, sort of a general knowledge quiz on economics and policies. At least a quiz on what the person you are voting for actually stands for. I still believe though and increase of education would force our politcal system to act correctly but i do have to say at our current state our politicians do a fine job at replicating the masses.
