I LOVE THIS COMMENT :))))) HA HA HA, JUST BE CAREFUL, SOMETIMES THE COPS BECOME A PUSSY AS WELL AND WANT TO GET TO KNOW YOU LITTLE BETTER UP CLOSE:)))))
@ralatorre9 What model is it? Do you have a vdc button? do you have cruise control. Google some of your option on the car and you can figure it out. I think base model is the only one that doesnt have an LSD
@ralatorre9 you can lookup the vin and be able to tell what model it is but a quick way to tell is if it has cruise control and traction control... If it has both those options, it is the model with LSD
@ralatorre9 if you have buttons on the right side of the steering wheel (cruise control button) and a VDC button then you have a lsd if not then its a base with an open differential.
@Jah2070 Yessir, I don't know whats louder, the girls inside or the motor ;) Just be careful, you'll get plenty of pussy in it, but cats somehow get magnetized to it too
@GovVision What model is it? Do you have a vdc button? do you have cruise control. Google some of your option on the car and you can figure it out. I think base model is the only one that doesnt have an LSD
oddly enough where i live this is the cheepest sporty car to insure, cheeper than the rx8 and wrx's and even civic si's. oh well guess i have to live with that lol
I drive my Z everyday too. what i dont seem to get, is how people think the ride is back-breaking and noisy? I drive my mom's 2006 Mercedes C230 sport occasionally, and when compared to the Z, the ride is not that much different. the Z is very very comfortable for me, and i am 6 foot 3, 190lbs. I think too many people of basing the 350's ride too much from video reviews and bandwagoner's rather than actually being an owner. but you are right, it takes a special person to drive it daily. 2 seats
ahh. I see. but yeh, the ride quality is pretty good on these cars. The only complaint I have is that when you drive over different road surfaces in the z, like slight gravel, and other hazards, you hear much rattle in the wheel wells from pebbles and crap being run over. lol. it gets pretty annoying at times especially when taking a brief trip on a crappy road surface. you here alot of pebbles rattling. thats my only complaint though. other than that, I freakin love my car.
good because i'm a teenager now, and i'm looking for a second car, a sports car/sports sedan, to use in conjunction with my mazda 6. one of the cars i'm considering is the 350z along with the porsche 944 turbo and the volvo s60r. i'll keep your recommendation in mind.
good choices. Before buying, I also took into consideration the reliablity of my other cars choices. the 350Z is very reliable for a sports car. the VQ engine is great! and has won the WARDS auto best engine award 14 straight yrs in a row. the engine is said to last for over 200,000 miles! (havent seen 1 with that much) but yeah, the 350Z is a great car, and with a little mods, it can be a serious contender. with some nice wheels and exhaust, you can make them into some very good looking cars.
i would never ruin my car with aftermarket exhausts, wheels, or other upgrades.
idk because i've heard bad things about the 350 from car reviewers, and have seen first hand that interior build quality isn't what it could be. that's a major factor. i'll have to see, i'll be honest, i'm leaning towards the volvo as of now because i've heard it's uncannily comfortable when you want it to be, something the 350 and 944 could never do.
well I can tell you right now then. the 350Z is NOT the car for you. the Z is a car that many people modify and tune, to be a superior track car. and if interior quality is wat you are looking for, than you need to cross the Z off your checklist. I didnt buy a Z for interior quality or cushy seats. I got it to be sleek, quick, and fun. the 350Z can never be compared to a Volvo, and if you are even considering a volvo over a 350Z, it shud be no comparison for someone considering a Z.
there's nothing wrong with a nice exhaust or aftermarket wheels as well. when done RIGHT, it can look and sound very nice. but some people have different tastes, and tend to put bad wheels, or ricey sounding exhuasts on them. when i get my wheels and exhausts, I will be going with some company's that build the parts specifically for the Z, so it will sound a look similar to stock, but with a more clean and sleek look to it. you will have to see it, to appreciate it. check out my Z when I finish
i'm only considering the volvo because i want a cushy highway ride sometimes. i realize the z is more hardcore than the volvo lmao, i like that too. honestly, i'm all over the place, i need to decide once and for all if i want a stealthy cruiser or a hardcore sports car. they'd both satisfy me honestly.
and there's a lot wrong with changing the exhaust. if nissan felt that their exhaust wasn't the most efficient, they'd have changed it themselves. they know what they're doing.
haha. you have much to learn my friend. If Nissan's 350Z exhaust is perfect, then why didn they use a true dual set-up for it? the exhaust on the 350Z is not a true dual setup and can gain muc power by swapping it out. the Z only has 1 muffler with 2 pipes, and a Y-pipe. My stillen exhaust will have 2 mufflers, with an X-pipe, for better airflow. the result: and unbelieveable dyno proven 14whp gain over the stock system. id say that is improvement, wouldnt you? and it still keeps the stock note
everything else on the Z is fine. but the exhaust can greatly improve power, with a nice ecu tune. the intakes work fine on the Z, the cams, headers, everything has been improved for the 07+ model, (which I have). the exhaust is still the same as ever. garbage! i like the sound though. also on newer 350Z's 07+ the redline has been bumper up to 7,500 rpms. and it now has 2 intakes, instead of 1. Nissan made an 80% newer engine for the New 350Z's. has a broader torque curve as well.
no, i don't think it's an improvement. if nissan felt the car could do with 14 more bhp, they'd have given it 14 more bhp. nissan spends almost $1 million each day on research and development, and you think some yobbo with a wrench knows better?
you dont understand business do you? Why would any car company squeeze the most HP out of every car they make? this is how it is with every car. people find ways to squeeze out extra HP out of cars with ecu tuning and parts. If companys squeezed out all the HP they want out of every car made, their would be no point for aftermarket upgrades, therefore no business. buying a car is not about what Nissan wants, its about what the consumer wants. and that is the point for aftermarket.
why do you think engines of same size have different HP and torque ratings? its because different companys use different ECU components and parts. look at Ford for example. how does the 4.6L V8 in the Mustang GT only produce 300HP, when Nissan's 3.5L V6 pumps out 306HP? do you really think Ford thinks the Mustang could do with less HP than the 350z? the Mustang has a bigger motor too! you dont understand the point of aftermarket tunning. car companys dont make the perfect car for everybody.
they wouldn't squeeze out more power you idiot, they give the car as much power as the chassis can take. overdoing it by 14 bhp can throw off the handling, and make the car less stable near its top speed.
OMG. you are a freaking retard! lol. how is 14bhp gonna throw off the handling? explain that to me? haha. I dont believe what i am reading. you know absolutely nothing about automobiles. I can really tell you are a teenager. lol. it would take at least 50-100hp to throw off a cars handling capabilities, due to greater wheelspin. Im sorry but 14hp is not gonna throw it off you idiot. lol. It is pointless for me to argue with someone who doesnt even own an automobile. why do i even bother? lol
it does throw off the handling, you wouldn't notice it off a track. go fuck yourself already, you know nothing, if you knew anything you wouldn't be modifying a car that many agree is one of the best set-up cars (from a performance standpoint anyway) of the 21st century.
i'm a purist, i don't believe ruining my car just to get an extra 14 bhp from the engine, maybe make it a tenth of a second quicker to 60 in a straight line.
i guess the thousands of NON-STOCK 350Z owners on youtube dont know anything then huh? now you are just attacking almost all 350Z owners. lol. huge problem with your comment right there. lol. and its not always about the extra 14hp. which is not my only goal. lol. also before I leave, I just want to thank you for pointing out that my car is "one of the best set-up cars (from a performance standpoint)." you're just making me look better. lol. your not a purist, purists dont compare a Z to a Volvo
please do me a favor and not purchase a sports car. Instead go buy your Volvo, as it would look better next to your Honda Pilot as opposed to a 350Z. lol.
i didn't got any of those you said and i am driving my z to work for past 8 months(6 days a week) and each time i start the engine its like is the first time. i don't know why some people hate 350z? maybe they can't afford it or ....?????? but i love it and i can afford it...
I use my everyday, doesnt tire me out, maybe if im on the country roads driving hard for a hour or more, yes! but the heavy clutch is great (not in the city tho) i drive it how should drive it!
it depends on you really. If u are tall and big, then yes this is a very bad daily driver. But if u are like me being only 5'7, its plenty comfortable. But why would u want a 2 door 2 seater as a daily driver anyways. Me personally, i would buy one as a toy and try not to put so many miles on one.
i have an 04 Z car. The clutch on the 03 and 04 model years is heavy, But like he said, in 2005 and newer Z cars, the clutch effort is lighter. I test drove a 2006 Z and the clutch was sooooooo much softer than the one in my 2004. So if you are worried about it being hard to drive, get a later year 350Z would be my suggestion =)
It's can be just as dangerous as any other car on the road. In fact, this is a better choice than bigger cars or SUV's that don't stop as quickly or handle a lot worse. I can see a 16 year old flipping an SUV, but not a 350Z.
a 16 year old probably shouldn't be driving a big SUV either. a 16 year old should be driving a sub $5000 piece of shit that can be ran into a wall over and over again because cars that belong to 16 year old drivers always get destroyed. buying a 16 year old kid a Z is just dumb no matter how you slice it.
haha guess what im 17 and i do work in my 350z..6 speed... just b/c its a 350z doesnt mean a teenager shouldnt drive it. i mean you can speed in any car like my grandmas buick lesabor. and i plan on turboing it after the summer...and my daddy didnt drop 30k for it. i bought it wrecked on ebay for 6,500 and bought half of it. saved money. bought parts. fixed it myself. so stop bitchin about teenagers cuz im probably a better driver than you:)
true dat dawg, im 17 too and plan to get this car when i get into college..i race every weekend and people are shocked to see that the person who beat them is just a teen
haha i live like 2 miles from work but insist on driving my z there everyday lol even if it is a 5 minute max drive... its just fricking fun... i have a manual.. screw getting an auto unless your lazy and have no clue how to actually drive....
@zstraps2205 Same here bro, I'm also 17 and own a 350z, manual. I completely agree with you, just because you're younger doesn't mean you can't be an amazing driver.
@NikeVaporV Me too man!! im glad to see us teenagers can drive these sick carsss, i got one for getting accepted into a college and my dad surprised me with it white with black rims :)
I wouldn't get a kid a Z as their very first car. But I'm 18 no tickets, no wrecks, no nothing. And I have had 2 sports cars... Its all in how responsible the teen is. I've had friends get some pretty kick ass cars and nothing happened to them. But I've also had friend get Accords, Civics, Camrys, ect and total them.
That's not true. I've been driving since I was 16 and never got into an accident that was my fault. I will agree with you that most 16 year olds are idiots when it comes to driving, but by that same token, not all of them are. Besides, what's the actual chance that neetfit can afford the car in the first place? Probably close to nil.
i own an 04 and it does not require premium gas idk why he said that

boosted99gsr 3 years ago
It's can be just as dangerous as any other car on the road. In fact, this is a better choice than bigger cars or SUV's that don't stop as quickly or handle a lot worse. I can see a 16 year old flipping an SUV, but not a 350Z.

a 16 year old probably shouldn't be driving a big SUV either. a 16 year old should be driving a sub $5000 piece of shit that can be ran into a wall over and over again because cars that belong to 16 year old drivers always get destroyed. buying a 16 year old kid a Z is just dumb no matter how you slice it.

haha guess what im 17 and i do work in my 350z..6 speed... just b/c its a 350z doesnt mean a teenager shouldnt drive it. i mean you can speed in any car like my grandmas buick lesabor. and i plan on turboing it after the summer...and my daddy didnt drop 30k for it. i bought it wrecked on ebay for 6,500 and bought half of it. saved money. bought parts. fixed it myself. so stop bitchin about teenagers cuz im probably a better driver than you:)

haha i live like 2 miles from work but insist on driving my z there everyday lol even if it is a 5 minute max drive... its just fricking fun... i have a manual.. screw getting an auto unless your lazy and have no clue how to actually drive....
Dreadker 2 years ago 3
@zstraps2205 You obviously don't have one. Every one comes with a turbo. Or it wouldn't be fast.

@zstraps2205 Same here bro, I'm also 17 and own a 350z, manual. I completely agree with you, just because you're younger doesn't mean you can't be an amazing driver.

I wouldn't get a kid a Z as their very first car. But I'm 18 no tickets, no wrecks, no nothing. And I have had 2 sports cars... Its all in how responsible the teen is. I've had friends get some pretty kick ass cars and nothing happened to them. But I've also had friend get Accords, Civics, Camrys, ect and total them.

i he just wanted a "yes"

That's not true. I've been driving since I was 16 and never got into an accident that was my fault. I will agree with you that most 16 year olds are idiots when it comes to driving, but by that same token, not all of them are. Besides, what's the actual chance that neetfit can afford the car in the first place? Probably close to nil.

but if your 17 your good to go
therats2270 3 years ago 2
Honestly, if you have the money go for it. If you don't, your better of with a New Civic, or perhaps a used 350Z? IDK
skbuoy 3 years ago
A used one that has 60-70k miles for 12-14 grand is affordable.
