  • @andrewmwall187 DS9 sssuuuuuuuucccckkkkeeeddd

  • @andrewmwall187 i think the books continue the story

  • @toyaforever I've been debating if I should read them or not. Any suggestions on where to start? oh this is andrewmwall187

  • Hey lets make another Star Trek action movie. They've been great every other time we've done it, right? ...Guys?

  • For what its worth, it looked pretty good

  • The hell? The TNG and DS9 crews weren't in ST XI.

  • Star Trek: The Final Voyage. a.k.a. Star Trek: The Universe Goes to Hell. Definitely looks like it would've been quite the turning point for the Star Trek Universe. I can't help but wonder, though, how you made this: CGI? Editing clips together? Very impressive either way.

  • @andrewmwall187 fuck DS9 and fuck you

  • @sideim I mean you don't have to be hostel. Its not the end of the world or anything.

  • @ 22 sec, it works for some reason :)

  • How is this a trailer for a movie? Its a bunch of clips from the shows with music that has been overplayed!

  • No good!!! The N.C.C. 1701-E dies in a one on one with an un id'd enemy ship in late 2470's.

  • @111Madmatt So'd the A, but they refit a new one to replace her. What's to stop them doing that with the E?

  • @111Madmatt how do u figure

  • that would be a good movie where they have the next generation deepspace nine and voyager crew in it and what i reckon they should do is add the new cast of the new star trek film in it and the start trek enterprise in them

  • I'm trying to figure out where this is a voyage to ... rather than just another fleet action preview.

  • whenever "requiem" starts, I turn it off. Epically over used piece of music.

  • When inserting titles, you must manually check for spelling and punctuation. There are no green squigglies to help you. You needed apostrophes (which probably don't exist in your font). You have given me angers.

  • Not another requiem theme song!

  • cool trailer, nice editing

  • you are a dumbass..this is just a bunch of segments from all the st series...not a movie.

  • Little bits & pieces of the various ST shows with mushy incomprehensible dialogue and poor grammar. No, I don't think it will fly.

  • That was an intresting trailer I think that movie should have Q in it if it was really made

  • @sonicboost451 they really do need a star trek movie with Q in it

  • cool, but you should learn the use of apostrophe -- good grammar is essential where Star Trek is concerned!

  • email me the script

  • Asshole! You got me all excited! This is just bits and pieces of other movies and clips from the tv shows! I hate fan-made garbage like this!

  • This vid is very nice. :) I liked the trailer look you were able to achieve.

  • is doch arschgefickte scheisse warum wird das star trek XI trailer gennant ich kann auch aus der serie und filmen sachen zusammen schnippeln

drecks scheisse kauf dir nen strick und geh dich erhängen du kack noob!!!

  • Wortwahl!!!

  • For not being real it's really quite good.

  • dude! u so should have left it until u had more info about the film

  • I kinda want to see this themesong, this monologue, but with cutscenes of the Enterprise from the new Star Trek XI movie. Now that would be slick!!!

  • Its official. Requim for a dream is over used.

  • lol so true mate

  • Is this the only music score people can think of to make trailers to? Everytime I watch one of these its always the same Mozart tune.

  • @ukreds1982:

Maybe there will be other TNG Films & Episodes in the changed Universe of ST 11. We'll see. We can only wait and see. Maybe the Dominion will fight against the Borg and will have a Alliance with the Star Fleet. We can only imagine what will happen.

But I realy hope that the changed Universe will not be our new Star Trek Universe. They killed Vulcan! A Star Trek Universe without Vulcan... °oO° That isn't the old Star Trek Universe.

  • RichiGutti, makes you wonder what other changes to the original ST universe will occur in the sequel. If they can remove Vulcan from the ST mythos, is anyone or anything safe?

  • The original universe is still there. This new movie is set in a parrallel universe.

  • awesome editing, I think that there should be a TNG/Voyager/DS9 good bye episode. get them all together for one last fight. Get the borg, romulans and the rest of the enemies in on it too. Not a hollywood blockbuster just a goodbye from that era. I was annoyed about how nemesis ended, and Id love to know why they bothered with insurrection, that was just like a long episode of TNG. Get them all back for one last fight to lead up to nero and spock going back. BTW new prequel film is AMAZING!

  • I hate these fake trailers!!!

  • Well the good news is that the new film is a continuation but it is also a prequel and reboot. The new film does take place sometime after Nemesis. The film might not have the TNG crew in it but it has a legend that returned on TNG which is our beloved favorite Vulcan, Ambassador Spock.

  • There is a new graphic novel called Star Trek: Countdown and it's a prequel to the new film. The graphic novel is mostly about Nero (the new Star Trek Romulan villain)'s origin story.

  • However you will be surprise who returns in the novel.

    *WARMING A SPOILER BELOW*

Data is resurrected and now he is the captain of the Enterprise and Picard is the ambassador of Vulcan. He downloaded himself to B4.

Parts of this film ties to the novel that ties to TNG's episode, "Unification" and takes place sometime after Nemesis and yeah most of this film will take place in TOS era of course.

  • So the new film is a continuation, prequel, and a reboot all in one and yes there is a time paradox too because it has Ambassador Spock and Nero which are from the 24th Century and they might create an alternate timeline when they go back in time to TOS era.

  • What would it be about? Would it be about the Borg or the Dominion war? I'm intrested to know what the story would be about?

  • the surely most abused soundtrack in the net-

requiem for a "i loved it, but can´t hear it anymore" dream.

actually the vid is really not bad, until it gets ordinary and boring at 0:46 ...

  • I was going to comment on how cliche Lux Aeterna has become as a soundtrack to a movie trailer... or any other video that is trying to be epic. But I see you've beaten me to it. Kudos to you.

  • lol

  • Definitely the most abused with that matrix soundtrack a close second...

  • well done

  • beagy123....

...Why don't you start the petition, YOU have the script and obviously the Rolodex to make the difference.

  • This trailer... gives you absolutely no idea of what this "movie" is about.

  • lol

  • Cant wait for the movie

  • WoW!! With a little imagination I think this would se a fantastic movie. Might be a bit long thought. :-)

  • Star Trek was once a fantastic idea about what the future could be like. After seeing this, I would rather watch Rocky Jones Space Ranger from the 50s. Way too much militarism and worshiping of war. This isn't science fiction; it's an occult.

  • Kirk Rules!! Best Captain EVER!! Kirk can kick Picards ass anyday! And he gets all the space bitches!

  • what would the plot be? I gathered nothing from this trailer other than sisko being in it so it'd be good.

  • where in the fuck did this come from

  • That was cool. That should have been the new movie coming out, not the other one. I want to see Captain Picard and Captain Sisko cross paths with each other again. I don't think that's going to happen for a while at least. But it might happen.

  • ànybody else sick of hearing requim for a dream? i know i am

  • That video clip is good but by no way Star Trek XI. Its a collage of various series and movies put together. Star Trek XI is back to the past with the new Captain Kirk :) If anyone didnt already know that is hehe

  • There will never bee a Final Voyage for Star Trek. Well atleast I hope. lol

  • Star Trek is AWESOME!!!

  • what is the music at the end

  • that's called "Requiem For a Dream"

  • thanks

  • And wasn't it from Babylon 5?

  • I don't remember that.

  • Lord of the Rings.

  • That would have been INSANE! Wake up Paramount!!

  • Are they ever gonna have a movie with the crews of the TNG..DS9...and VGR? Now that would be something.....

  • Now that's the movie I wish they had made instead of Nemesis...boring!

  • I liked Nemesis but it was my first movie which pretty much ruined the rest of the series for me. I for one am all for this guys writing. He's really great.

  • Nice teaser. Keep watching.

  • I'd watch it. I liked DS9. :)

  • hmm, comment got cut off. I was saying that although they did move around in DS9, it was much more grounded in the same area, and had a more continuous storyline and characters. To me, this is not what Star TREK is, which is moving farther and farther away from federation space, seeking out new life and such.

  • I could see that observation, but they did give them a brand new unexplored quadrant. Even though in agreement with you, they didn't do enough new "trekking" stuff with it. I did however love the aspect of the Dominion, Shapershifters (founders), and not to mention the profits who played a major role in the entire series. I thought that was extremely good writing and gave them plenty of material and allowed them to do whatever they wanted.

  • I guess it is a matter of preferance. I like a new race/planet/characters, each episode if possible.

Deep Space 9 looked very much like babylon 5, with a deep and ongoing storyline that delved into a race's culture and history and the future it wants to build. interesting to be sure, but not in the same vein as ToS.

I still want to watch the full DS9 series however, as all I am missing is that and "Enterprise".

  • @TUBABEAST DS9 was special in its own way because it was more 'raw' than the others. There was more emotion, love, and death than any other series. Its just my opinion of course but I thought the characters were more 'alive' than other series. It just didnt seem as cookie-cut as the others were.

  • @Fr0sTy327 DS9 might have been 'raw', more 'alive', and had more emotion, but it was NEVER Star Trek.

  • The problem with that series is that there wasnt much "trekking" in it. It was based on a space-station, and although

  • definetly!

  • Looks pretty sick, but thing I like about star trek is it's not all about the action.

  • Scrap it... Data is dead. No more TNG.

  • Well technically data is dead, but remember in that movie they did transfer all his memories and experiences into B4 which means that he could easily be brought back to life.

  • Brent Spiner said he wouldn't be willing to appear as data again.

  • This music has got to be the most overused on the planet. Stop fucking using this music please.

  • its a good song though

  • I agree. One would think that there are other tunes that also are suited for "OMG SUSPENSE!" stuff.

  • Indeed it did. It was the best series by far, it should have gotten that cotinuation

  • aFUCKINGmen brother... there really needs to be a DS9 movie...

  • That would be epic if they had Janeyway, picard, and Sisko all rolled into one movie

  • Very well done home made tailer, and that's what NG's final flick should've been, a 3 hour huge battle filled epic with all the fed ships & crews involving the same story line with those final big DS9 battles.

my star rating of all the NG flicks btw, 4 being best:

    Generations ***

    First Contact ****

    Insurection **

    Nemesis ***

  • This is what a Trek Movie is missing, and all out fight. Why do you think STII was a fan favorite, we didn't care too much about story, we wanted to see some ship on ship action. We have a big screen and huge speakers, lets make full use of them and show an armada fight like no other. I was disappointed by Star Trek X when they fell short of the Armada waiting nearby, I wanted to see a fight that only DS9 on their TV budget could produce.

  • it's spelled "The enterprise's final mission"

  • im getting very tired of crazy star trek fans with way too much time on their hands making silly fake trailers and tricking people into watching them.. what the hell is the point? do you think ill watch it and think, WOW! thats SO much better than the REAL trailer! good thing im a millionare! ill go fund a NEW movie and ill get YOU to be the director just cuz you did such a good job on this clip montage! pfft. OORR.. maybe ill just flag the video as having misleading text and be done with it.

  • ?????? the next movie is set in kirk and spocks youth! so what does that have to do with tng cast?

  • deep space nine "what you leave behind" with voyager's "Endgame" and TNG Nemisis, not the best mix for a trailer. especially since the best enemy in star trek is the borg

  • this is the son of grunt 68-69 what show was the black captain on?

  • THe black captain is Benjamin Sisko for Deepspace 9.

  • thanks

  • BLAMERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • So What? Prequels are very good. George Lucas Proved that with Star Wars I, II, and III. SO I really don't see the problem with prequels.

  • sorry did you see star wars I,II and 3 in comparison to the originals...though JJ Abrams is on board and he's a very good writer/directot

  • star wars is the perfect example why they dont work!

  • EPIC FAIL

  • Star Trek Nemesis WAS Picard's Final Command! Star Trek XI is gonna have Kirk and Spock in the academy!!!!!!!

  • Have they not learned that prequels are a NO NO? Can you say 'Enterprise'? lol

  • 5 star movie!

  • Good editing but other than that its pretty mixed up ...

  • but isnt that what bad editing is?

  • Wasn't that the tagline they used on 6?

  • yeah..i dont think this is real..most of those scenes looked familiar..and plus wesley (troys son) from TNG was in one of those scenes..

i give a plus on good editing..and half a plus on the concept of a final voyage

  • Wesley was Dr Crusher's son

  • my mistake..but i saw wesley in there..

  • That should be a great movie...we hope in ST XII...

  • Now that is a way better trailer then the acual. Not to be stupid or anything but without Gene Roddenberry and Rick Berman star trek is dead.

5 series (not including the animated series) and 10 star trek movies. That's all I'm settling for.

  • "Not to be stupid"

    Too late.

"or anything but without Gene Roddenberry and Rick Berman star trek is dead. "

With Rick Berman Star Trek WAS dead.

    "That's all I'm settling for. "

Mental capacity ran out for more room?

  • "Now that is a way better trailer then the acual."

We've not had a full trailer yet.

  • when is coming in theathers?????

  • May 2009.

  • nice putting all those videos.

  • They should make a 3 hour movie with all the Next gen, ds9 and voyager actors and kill most of them off in an epic battle royal while introducing new characters for a future tv show. It would be to rest all the TNG stuff(i love TNG) and make an epic movie and movie the franchise forward.

  • I agree 100%.This new movie will bomb. They had a great chance to use ALL theold characters and kill them off if needed.A good movie in the same vein as the Wrath of Khan.

  • wow, explosions, thing blowing up, weapons of mass destruction, death, despair....the true meaning of star trek eh, no wonder its lost its way.

  • Oh, I've had this argument over and over...

Look, there's no such thing as a "true" meaning of Trek. Even the whole "positive future" thing is open to interpretation. One way to approach it is the "TNG-way", to show characters that are morally unquestionable and aloof. The other way (which I prefer) is the "DS9-way" of showing flawed characters that dwell on errors and mistakes and feel bad about it.

  • It lost its way when BB and Michael Pillar took over, more interested in viewers and money than canon history and "discovery," and got worse in the ST:Enterprise era when they basically threw the whole history out the window and started over. They should have shot those guys out of a cannon over the wall of the backlot and called it good.

  • Yeah, that's where Enterprise and also Voyager sucked. Both had those inconsistencies with established Canon (ENT more than VOY of course). And pleeease, ENTs Season 3 was more or less "9/11, the Trek way".

But ENT Season 4 was great, gotta give Coto some credit for that. If ENT had been like this from the start, the series might still be running.

But great that Berman, BB and Piller are gone for good regarding Trek. Still not sure if another Kirk-movie's such a great idea though...

  • it lost its popularity cause alot of jerks startin to say this was geeky an started to make it sounds unpopular plus stupid big brother, shows like im celebrity get me out of here was over-running these shows, but ether way star trek was a good show, know a lot of people who wanted Enterprise to keep goin cause it was a fab series, lv'd everything they did

  • Agreed, I liked Season 4 of enterprise (with the exception of the last episode... that was horrendous IMHO)

Oh and DS9 because Nobody is perfect, and it hung a mirror up to the 'perfect' world of starfleet and looked beyond it to the other races, and poked flaws in the federation (or tried to :) ) but if you just want strange new worlds and new civilisations... it tended to lack compared to TOS and TNG

  • "Both had those inconsistencies with established Canon"

Inconsistencies started with TOS's 2nd Pilot, "Where No Man Has Gone Before." Certainly nothing new in Star Trek. And not as bad in "Enterprise" as I think some suggest.

  • Well, lets see... Enterprise introduced no less than TWO species, which just happen to simply VANISH from history (the Suliban and the Xindi). They also mentioned contacts with races that were completely unknown until about tw centuries later (e.g. the Borg and the Ferengi).

Errors like that don't just happen. The Xindi devastated Earth and were never mentioned in the future? Yeah sure, people are SO going to forget that giant "trench" they burned into North America...

  • "Well, lets see... Enterprise introduced no less than TWO species, which just happen to simply VANISH from history (the Suliban and the Xindi)."

Vanish or just never mentioned? Plenty of that in Star Trek before.

"They also mentioned contacts with races that were completely unknown until about tw centuries later (e.g. the Borg and the Ferengi)."

Borg were never mentioned by name. Don't remember if the Ferengi were either.

How about James "R." Kirk.. The Enterprise A having 70+ decks, etc?

  • "Errors like that don't just happen."

    Have. Did. Will.

"Yeah sure, people are SO going to forget that giant "trench" they burned into North America..."

And we only found out about World War 3 in "First Contact?" Earth Romulan Wars wasn't exactly a "heavy subject" either.

  • "And we only found out about World War 3 in "First Contact?" "

Just a little correction, WW3 has been first mentioned somewhere in TOS season 1...episode space seed i think...

  • ".episode space seed i think... "

Without rewatching the episode, I think you're thinking of the "Eugenics Wars?"

  • probably...but im quite convinced they were talking about 'third world war' somewhere in seasons 1-2, but who knows, maybe i just imagined it...havent seen season 3 so far so it must have been before that.

  • Nice video. Looks like a trailer for a Star Trek movie I'd like to see. There's indeed so much material they could use for another Star Trek movie, based on Voyager or DS9, or some combination of both.

  • That requiem song gets used way too much in way too many places.

  • very nice vid and a movie i'd love to see. I really liked when Voyager shot into battle and the defiant looked pimp.

  • What music is that.

  • It's the theme from the 2000 film Requiem For A Dream, composed by Clint Mansell.

  • yeah and its used in ever fan made trailer ever.

  • I am so fucking sick of this song. Good scenes though.

  • I'd like to see more apostrophies too. Otherwise a very nice piece of work. Well done :)

  • whats the name of the final song?

  • its "requiem for a tower".

its a remix of "requiem for a dream", remixed for "lord of the ring, the two towers"

  • The internet has ruined this nation's grammar and spelling skills.

This would have been a good fake trailer except for the opening words:

"A GENERATIONS FINAL JOURNEY"? Does this look strange (i.e. wrong) to anyone? Try "Generation's".

  • You have a point.Good one.

  • very clever, very clever^^ the guy who uploaded this vid isn´t from your nation

  • Ok. So he's from the UK. The good citizens of the United Kingdom still speak English, I believe. I maintain my original point. People simply no longer care about speaking (or writing)properly. It's as though George Bernard Shaw's "Pygmalion" has come true.

All I'm saying is if you're going to post your writing on a blog or even in a YouTube video then use your language of choice properly. It makes one's writing so much more enjoyable and less of a distraction.

It was still a good video.

  • ok, i thought you are just a wisenheimer. live long and prosper^^

  • ok but completly irrelevent to xi

  • Nice work... this would be a much better idea than the god damn new movie (that I am heavily against btw, I don't really want to watch it but as a trekkie I feel compelled to)

  • Awesome

    nicely done

  • i wish on star trek nemisis the enterprise got the the fleet before the reman warbird scimitar attacked it would have been better especially if admiral janeway and voyager was on it but the ending was good exept for the death of data

  • Great Trailer. I just hope the real Star Trek 11 will be like that (although I doubt it).

  • Why is it that every fan made Star Trek clip has this stupid song playing in the background? It's really annoying. Seriously.

  • I agree. I think it sounds like somekind of fanboy anthem.

  • even tho this is a fan made film

    its nicely done :)

    well done

but the final *sorry if am wrong people* 11 film for star trek is going further than anyone has gone before * i like that line lol*

the beginning of star trek :)

    i think lol

  • You forgot the apostrophe on enterprise's

  • Picard Is not even in the next film idiot.

  • ....and I don't get the whole "The Final Voyage" thing. Isn't this next Star Trek based on a timeframe before the Original Series? Sounds like...there's a lot more movies coming.

  • i stopped watching as soon as i heard the music from the i am legend trailer. sick of it.

  • Its called "requiem for a dream" (or to a dream) and is a very famous piece. So no, you're wrong, its not "that music from I am legend," How dare you belittle it in such a way. L2watchmovies noob.

  • oh i am a noob. wow .. very clever. the i am legend trailer is where people know the music from mostly and you know it.

  • You are a complete retard.

Its called "Lux Eterna" and its the main theme from the movie "Requiem for a dream", which is significantly more popular that the fucking "I am legend trailer".

And even if you are too much of a fucking idiot to have ever seen or hear of "Requiem for a dream", the music was also used in the "Lord of the Ring: The Tow Towers" trailer which came before the "I am Legend" trailer and was about 20 times more popular/well known.

Your ignorance makes you look stupid.

  • They also used it as the music for the trailers of "Sunshine" and "Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers", so it's one of these that gets recycled quite a bit.

  • Yeah, plus I could have sworn that "Death Is The Road To Aw" was the music used for the "I Am Legend" teaser trailer & not "Requiem For A Dream (Remix)", but I could be wrong.

Both by Clint Mansell, but they sound very different.

  • "...I mean, it'll be GREAT. For example, get this: one minute you'll see a frickin' whale being beamed onto a Klingon ship, and then we'll fade Commander Data being seduced by a female Borg's detachable head, followed by a bunch of random Federation starships coming out of warp, only to be greeted by a barrage of Star Destroyers and Tie Fighters with the faded image of the chairman of Iron Chef America doing a backward flip behind a giant tilapia, as Kirk points at his toaster, "MMM!" Yea, baby.

  • About a year ago in a Paramount movie pitch... "...ok...so I have this great idea for a new Star Trek film...let's just take footage from the various TV episodes and splice in some film footage, and re-introduce it to the general public as a quote-unquote 'STAR TREK FILM.' And what we'll do is have members of YouTube splice together some stuff too, and subsequently, they will also be able to release their 'STAR TREK FILMS' to the general public."

  • I love the soundtrack , can someone tell me what is it ?

  • FAKE!

  • Any fan would know it, but I gotta say it sorta passes. Maybe a 7/10.

  • It's supposed 2 be fake, read the description next time before u get all huffy.

  • piccard es genial, muy buen clip.

  • Picard's final command, "We surrender! Please let us prove we're worthy of your judgement, master!"

Picard makes the French look manly...

  • It's because Patrick Stewart is an Englishman.
