try the lapras that you got at sliph co. It has good attacks like ice beam and confuse ray once you level it up, and has a lot of HP. Its Sp. Attack may not be through the roof, but it is decent and powerful attacks make up for it. Hope this helps!

By using Meowth, you can obtain Rare Candies and other stuff from wild pokemon without having to catch them.

By using the move "Thief".
