Transmissions are one of the most neglected components in a vehicle. it is recommended that majority of transmissions be flushed once a year depending on manufacturer. So when you neglect your transmission of course it will crap out. And not to mention alot of fords get condemned when all the transmission needs is a band adjustment. For one, the chev was pulling that ford no problem. It ended up catching better traction and being able to pull it. Second, what's done to each? Obviously the owners have worked on them, but what do they have for engines, diffs, axles, etc. I love chev and ford has some pretty sick shit out there but we're going off nothing. For all we know it could be a 460 vs 396, 7.3 vs 6.5, 350 vs 350. Don't even know if they have 4:10 posi or 3.73's or what. It's fun to do and watch. That's all it is though
