Different style more towards hard rock. U can't beat Jerry. Jerry composed for Elvis. Bobby Darin, his son, was the first El but he was ill but you can hear Bobby in the first El songs. Jerry brought a lot of anger into the songs with a mischieveous key. Jer did not need Janis Joplin nor El nor Bob. & janis didn't need Jer but together they made interesting conversation.
