@LovemeAquarius Such clay was to expensive in the volume. So I used clay from the creek on the farm. It was free and did the job very well. Check out my other video using this clay to build a ferrari back end

@mrjaytion Yes it is. Something had to give the clay its support so that it could be changed to the shape you see here. I am now half way through designing the new back end which is a farrari enzo back end. Will upload a timelaps video of this in early January

@electronicchronic The clay cost nothing. The fiberglass cost $1200. Then my time which cost nothing. Total cost of changing to this shape not much more that 10,000. But if I payed someone to do everything for me then yes it would cost 40-50,000

thats just an AB Flug kit basically with modded vents in the front it looks .. you literally could have just purchased an ab flug and modified the front bumper alittle.

@1994toyotasupra It is based on the Abflug but is much diff. It is 50mm wider each side and longer. The front bumper is alot diff apart from the main line which is actually copyed from the mitsubishi FTO and the veilside. The sideskirts are compleatly diff. The shape down the doors is alot diff shape and bulkyer looking and the rear quarters are complealy diff. The back bumper and rear quarters is about to change into ferrari.

@1994toyotasupra The combination of new and old lines in the front bumper and the front gards makes it look like a king cobras head. Hence the people here on youtube first coined the name king cobra supra and that name has stuck. This could not be said of the abflug

@JUSTADDCHEESE It did not cost much. Just price of materials. The labour all done by myself and that is most of the cost of any project. No it does not weigh it down since the clay is removed. I have a video of how it gets removed. Please veiw.

ok how does this clay work? is it just to make the mold and then you mold the fiberglass over it? could you have started with fiberglass and just grinded, cut and shaped it onto the car like this?

@pasadenapauly The clay is just used to get a shape you want and then make up a rough fiberglass pannel. once you have your pannel then all the clay is removed and the newe panel attached permanantly to the car. No it would not be possible to grind up a shape like this. Its too deep.

@MOFUZION In this video the door jams were not yet cut. But the doors actually open up into the air. They are vertical doors that I moded. I have a video showing this mod and how it was done.

@soartosky Yes you are right. The right word there is Based. The kit is still very much differant from any abflug kit anywhere in the world. The sideskirts are totally differant as is the bonnet. The front bumper is much differant, the back end is alot differant and the rear quarters have been totally changed apart fron the one familiar shape around the side which I may yet change compleatly to look more like farrari

While the body kit itself isnt really my style, I can really appreciate the amount of work you've put into it. Lately Ive been playing with a lot of fiberglass and i was wondering what brand of clay you use and how much i can expect to pay for the amount you've used.

@x666bored666x Thanks. Yes I just had a look at some of your work. While the bonnet scoop is not bad the style does not match the rest of the car you have put it on. Your bonnet scoop belongs on a late model celica. On that car it would be really really mean and you could even market it for that car. As for the clay I got it for free becouse I dug it out of the creek on the farm. I could not afford proper molders clay. It would of cost me $2000 or more for this amount.

@S1KRYD Well the main reason i ask is because i plan on redoing the hood scoop to better match my car. I actually live around a few creeks that have quite a bit of clay, as far as finding it what qualities did you look for as far as hardness and moisture content?

@x666bored666x I roll it into a ball and then throw it at a tree. If it stays together but only changes shape then you have some good clay. Dont forget that you will need to cover your work each day with food wrap (glad wrap)to keep it moist. You dont want it to dry out. To get a mold of your work once you have finished, just follow the processes in the bonnet time - laps vidio

@MKiVDriVeR410 Funny you used the work exactly. Have a closer look and then compare what you see with the abflug kit. To name a few things that are differant - the side skirts are TOTALY differant. Also the rear quarters are alot differant and the front gards are a bit differant

@2jzgteSupraJZA80 Thanks. As you can see the car is based on the abflug but yet is very much differant. It is also wider and longer. The supra lights just looked silly inside such a wide rear end. They could not stay. The back supra lights look so silly on a normal abflug and so would have been much more silly on this project.

@Genukie Thanks. I like the side too. The rear I am thinking of compleatly changing. I like the bonnet very much. On this vidio the bonnet not look that nice but once I finished the bonnet and painted it it looks mint. See other vidios. I also really like the extra vents on the bumper. I will mold this bumper and make a few differant versions of it. One will be without the vents.

@strongasian OK I will let you know when I have made the first copys. I know about the polyurethene. NZ did a celica that way and it turned out well. But with the clay you have more control over your shape. Also the end product with the fiberglass is much stronger. You can lean on the car or throw a cricket ball at it without denting it. Its tough and durible and easy to fix if someone hits you.

@MrImpala03 Hey thats cool. The point of the project was not to keep it a supra or to try and make the supra look better. The supra looks great the way it is! The supra is just a platform on which this bodyshape is placed. This kit makes it a whole new car. That was the point. It is a combo of Corvette and Ferrari thus putting it in the same exotic catigory. Not everyone is going to like it. In fact my research suggests that 69% are going to love it and 31% are going to hate it.

@SICsupraman Thanks. Was thinking of cuting back the back gard a bit in one spot instead of spacers. There is one spot in the back gard that is bothering me a bit. Then back wheels will stick out further. Yes this is panel beating but its differant becouse you are using fiberglass instead if metal. Have been doing it for a while now. I like it . Its a lota fun and that is the key to becoming good at what you do. If you enjoy it you wiil become very good at it

@strongasian I dont think you know what you are asking for. This is the only one in the world. I have planned to take a mold of each part and sell as a fiberglass shell to be fitted over any other supra. You can buy if you like but it will cost you a minimum of $150,000 for the car and the rights to mass produce the fiberglass shell (bodykit)
