The thing is, this hits on both literal and deep thematic similarities between the song and the movie. The literal associations made about 'flags go up' or 'plotting a course' etc would be trite, but the song's lyrics describe the conflict of Macross Plus' three main characters very well.

I've loved this AMV a long time. It inspired me when it came to making mine. You captured the essence of the lyrics, the edits and scenes your selected carried the pace and cadence of the song. Man, an excellent piece of work.

Absolutely perfect.

I've always wanted to do a Guld video to this song, but never had a good enough copy of the series to edit with. This AMV has more or less everything I wanted to put in my own, and has done it probably better than I could have myself. 5 stars and then some!
