Noor Jehan is a miracle and will never be repeated. She is a genius. Besides being the best singer of all times, she was able to compose poetry of a high quality. May be her genes will produce some body like her in a few generations.

i thought Noor Jehan sang her last song in 1996? Madhuri got married in 1998/99 i think and here she's married.... and yet Noor Jehan is talking about recording songs....it doesn't add up.... does anyone know what year this interview was recorded in...

You are absolutely correct, to my knowledge she never went to studio for recording after 1996, she was very ill in her last 4 years.

She visited Bombay in 1982, and in this interview she said '..12...13 saal pehley jab mein India gai' it means this is 1994 or 1995 when this interview was recorded, Madhuri got married in 1999, this is strange how they r talking about Madhuri's marriage in 1994/95?

@Inaam2 the video has been taken afta madhuri's marriage i.e; may be in 2000 begening and the point whr madam says that "12-13 saal pehle whch means ki jab madam ka concert hua tha "1983" mein ! and uske baad bhi shayad aayi hongi woh india aur ya yeh bhi hosakta hai ki un se galti hogayi ho kehne mein jaise ki is interview me choti choti galtiya hui hai madam se like dilip sahab ke baare me aur yeah in d end she said tht ki unhe zyad kuch yaad nahi rehta ,so galti hi hui hai madam se bolne me!

AWESOME!!!! i seriously think u should rename the title to something that will attract the indian audience... they should definitely watch this i feel like they're missing out.... maybe something like "Noor Jehan speaks about India / Indian artists"...? it's just a suggestion though...but it's a very kool video... Noor Jehan and Madhuri are my favourites

I agree with u, first i thought the same tittle "NJ talking about Indian Artists' but I felt there is a variety of topics in this interview, like first time she is talking about her health, her own poetry. If i get more suggestions to rename the tittle, I would definitely do this.

This small meeting demonstrate that she had the rare gift of not only great singing but also wonderful speech. Her decent mannerism, her superior vocabulary, her top notch pronunciation, her humility, her affection for her family and friends, her wit, her literary vein, everything has been packed in these few minutes.
