  • His acting is brilliant.

  • No mention of the heart murmur?

  • I love how he can just guess she's into alt med.

  • Alien Abduction Insurance

  • Wow...you mean the fact that I talk like I may have had throat problems years ago, isn't a clear indication that I had throat problems years ago? Seriously?

  • Are there any books about how he does all of these?

  • PharmaCUTEcals?

  • lol americans

tooooooooo easy to troll with bullshit

  • @JeefCakes The only reason he didn't do it in Europe was because he is too well known there.

  • ufo researchers...that's fucking lame.

  • Step 1: Do your research and pay attention. (what do self proclaimed abducties have in common? paranoia. and so distrust in the chemical drugs.)

Step 2: Adress the general doubt (Lucid of vivid dream?)

Step 3: Make sure they know you doubt it so they will try to reaffirm for you (I'm trying to find out if it's real)

Step 4: Say general things (and judge their reaction, latch on to it when they react and go deeeper.)

    Done.

He's just realy good at it :P

  • Derren really should present himself to the scientists and the editors of the journal that Ann mentioned.

  • Oh course she doesn't sleep... The bags under her eyes have bags. Pffft.

  • It's about the only surgery she's had up there (thyroidectomy). How could she have forgotten the prefrontal lobotomy? Where do they find these people? Please Derren, go somewhere else because I am so embarrassed that you always seem to come to the USA to find the worst of these religious fanatics. Can't you find a slightly less ignorant population to pick on - like say - well never mind. Cannot find them. A real testament to the American mandatory educational system. So sad.

  • wow. "there's not very much black and white. ya know ... uh ... most of it is in the grey area".... classic alien PUN +`)

  • this is a spoof right?

But it's sad either way ... haha

  • An old lady with husky voice that writes about ufo's.

Probably doesn't sleep well at her age, probably has something in her throat and probably she is using alternative medicine.

p.s.-the ufo's abductions are haluciation about losing control-the unconscious way to alert the conscious about taking control of one's life.

  • I've used suggestion to give co-workers sore throats and persistent coughs. It is perhaps the easiest psychosomatic condition to induce. Just talk about allergies, or about a cold that's going around, pretend to have trouble swallowing for a second, clear your throat once or twice.

I once programmed one of my more suggestible co-workers to clear her throat every time I mentioned the word "amazing."

And I'm not even all that good at this, so really, anybody can do it if they try.

  • @Scurvebeard

Yeah, a friend of mine "programmed" one of his ex-gf to yawn every time he snapped his fingers.

Even other people could snap their fingers and she would yawn.

She even tried to fight it, but she could not.

  • I dont take pharmacuticles either....WOW!

  • Interesting how even the "experts" in the field of the paranormal are just as blown away as the average joe by these tricks. Wonder if it made them more skeptical of the stuff they usually see as evidence.

  • this man is THE reason I got into mentalism!!! I've been fucking with Christian minds for 2 years now!

  • deren is cute ;-p

  • @vilis1988gr If you're a dude go for it he might like u

  • You can try this ..when you visit someone just go to the bathroom..then look around and you can deduce all the intimate details about the particular person. If you see medicines (most likely over the counter from CVS) just read what they are for..all you have to do is make up a story, sprinkle with common sense words and you are good to impress the heck out of people.

  • He cant be fake. What if the grandpa guy went up?

  • @iblessedx It's very easy to get an image of who it is. The foot steps, smell, how he/she touches etc. Men and female are quite different there, at least the last two.

  • @iblessedx He is 'fake' he is an illusionist. This was a TV show where he tried to convince people that he was what he said he was. Notice how the things he says applied to almost all elders. Trouble sleeping and how they are against drugs. In my opinion, I think he predicted the throat problem when he was talking to her and noticed her husky voice. It's all physiologic, showmanship, and cold reading.

  • @melteric

Yep, pretty much. Raspy voice indicates either thyroid surgery or a history of smoking, detecting the hand touch (which can be figured out after an introductory handshake) means you don't need to see... but after he faced her, he came in with more cold-reading techniques.

Brilliant guy. Just wish he would have done this like they did "Undercover Boss" and drag everyone in to demonstrate his showmanship after faking their pants off.

  • 5:05-5:06, Derren says "slight," probably referring to the "minor heart problems" he mentions at 4:20. Good thing Ann gives her "pharmacuticles" answer before he can get any more out.

  • They climbing in your windows and snatching yo people up.

  • @spiderpig552 They is rapin everybody down here..

  • @spiderpig552 hide your kids, hide your wife, hide your kids, hide your wife,

  • & this is how you trick old women x.x

  • WOW THIS IS THE BEST COMEDY SHOW I'VE WATCHED IN AGES. Couldn't stop laughing............

  • You can only imagine how many times he tried filming this and failing, and he only televised the successful ones

  • @Fastblade113

actually, while he does do plenty of takes on his tv shows, I'm fairly sure that this was a one-off considering that this couple is one of the most prolific "alien abductees"

    He's just really, absurdly talented.

  • I'm guessing on this one, he researched her background before he showed up at her house. He says at the beginning that he read her book, I'm betting she made mention of her thyroid and/ or the use of herbal medicine in it.

  • @PracticeCommonSense i dont think you get it, derren doesnt do magic tricks he doesnt need to research ppl for a trick, all he is doing is psychology and he's damn good at it

  • it's only accurate if they want it to be accurate, which is why he can fool anyone that already beleives what he's talking about. They cant say he's wrong, or vague or just guessing cause then they're wrong, vague or just guessing.

  • @OkWheresMyMonkey u can look them up.. They are real people who have dedicated their entire lives to the causes they are shown to represent in the show. The only way this is fake is if he paid them off and convinced them to turn their backs on the causes they've worked on their entire lives..

I think he's really observant to begin with so he tells them very vague things about what he observed, and he also works with the fact that the people WANT him to be for real..

    Not every1 gets fooled

  • These people actually seem pretty nice..

  • Derren does not use actors, his methods work on almost everyone...he is a master of psychology and has a brilliant mind.

  • I would like to know how I can avoid illegal alien abductions. Como puedo yo lo hacer?

  • lol.. poor old female,

  • WELL FUCK, I have sleeping problems(I'm watching this at 3:45 at the moment),I'm against perscribtion drugs and arn't on any, I HAVE A SORE THROAT, and I'm really intrested in herbal and natural ways of curing things. "HOW DOES HE DO IT" her face was so funny. XD

  • 3:07 to 3:50 ROFL I would be laughing my ass off at how badly she fell for it.

  • he was accurate to a 100% accuracy lawlz

  • lolilol.. how is he not laughing at 3.09, or how is the camera man not laughing

  • I wish I had a nighttime bedroom alien visitor. I wish her name was Morena Baccarin.

  • How to avoid alien abduction. Simple. Lock your doors and windows, and most importantly, don't believe the bullshit.

  • hahahaha! "Most of it is in the 'gray' area."

    lol :)

  • so how did he know about the throat thing?

  • @mtdeezy cause the throat, like the temples and stomach, is just one of those things that tends to bug you more often than other body parts. What's amazing about this is that, remember, theyre OLD, so theyve had a long time to accumilate all sorts of medical problems. She's probably had all sorts of other medical issues. The fact that she considers his 2-3 correct guesses -despite what he missed- to be "100%" accurate is what makes her so retarded gullible, and its what he's exploiting.

  • @mtdeezy Easy. He was leaning backwards with his arms while "sensing" her and he felt that it was the woman (due to her arm height, etc.). She clearly has a gravelly voice, so probably had some sort of throat issue, which could be throat or esophagus or thyroid. And everybody has trouble sleeping at some point, especially at that age.

  • @mtdeezy and the medical thing, if she is an alien conspiracy nut, then she probably doesn't trust those in authority, especially medical doctors who would tell her she hallucinated her alien abduction "experience" or whatever, so naturally she shies away from western medicine.

  • you can see the scar of that operation on the neck

every old lady has sleeping problems

she looks so anti western medicine...an easy guess

easy but good example how eays it is to amaze people if you keep the eyes open and have some basic medicin knowledge

  • 5:05 "farmer cuticles" are an inescapable fact of life for those of us who do a lot of manual outdoor work.

  • 5:00 "uh huh" is, I think, my favourite moment in this whole show. The perfect "I am pretending to be interested when really on the inside I am cheering for myself and saying 'YEAHHH! Direct hit!'" noise.

  • yeah but there being tricked a bit thoses twoold folks they dont know that he is amentalist. I Dont know how he knows that shit Iam still floored and have to remind myself he knows something we dont. I will find out. I have always wanted to know such things as the ways David Blane Chris Angel Derren Brown Hudinni all of them.Mentalists not magic

  • He knew about this stuff because he researched their medical history first. Why it wouldn't occur to them is ridiculous

  • How could he know about the bad sleeping and the drugs?...

    XD

  • @antonbuckley He looked at their medical history beforehand, felt who was touching them, knew the woman looked tired (or something a lot better derren brown-style), and since she's such a flake he knew she'd be anti-western medicine or that there'd at least be a 70 percentile shot of her being that. Pretty basic. The true genius is not getting them to realise how simple it was for him to do this.

  • @geyter6 How could possibly he know who was touching him?

  • @Isteinier The woman is seeted in a much easier position to stand up and go to him, cause the dude would have to go round the table or sidle past the wife. Also in the conversation he mostly engaged her, so that she is mentally cue-ed to feel as the person who should take the responsibility.

There is just no way that woman wouldn't have stood up to meet him, no matter what it seems like. She thinks it is her job. Her thing. Not the husbands.

Especially with the cameras on her, it's publicity.

  • @Isteinier he leaned back and you can see him touch her upper arm with his arms, thus sensing her height and physical stature :-)

  • He guessed the tumor probably by listing to her breathing and also the hands reacting slightly to his back. If he was going the right way her hands responded and Derren kept on going that way

  • Why would you trust what you can't even pronounce properly?

  • Derren could be better then House if he ever choose to become a doctor

  • does derren brown ever explain how he is so dead on in some of these cases?

i mean, the woman wasn't making the tumor stuff up, was she? did he already know? same with the guessing drawings in part 1 (minus the "sail" and "overboard" suggestions for the boat on water drawings) i know he is skilled in manipulating peoples thoughts, but guessing with such accuracy deserves a better explanation. i don't believe in magic or psychic crap either btw.

  • betty and barney hill first abduction on record.. a good read indeed

  • poor, poor deluded woman..

  • Thanks for sharing.

  • Keep in mind that for all of these people being tested on in this special, it is really profitable to find a special individual in their field and they are thus less likely to question Darren Brown's abilities.

  • @Ariesxe So true, so true, it must be really exciting for them to find someone who is really "skilled" and "unique" as most believers really are followers and basically act like robots.

  • You and Ariesxe make good points. People in New Age are seeking mainstream acceptance and publicity. The Christian Minister who did not endorse already has that. I really like the way Derren does this with real elegance. No swearing or name-calling. Just presents his beliefs and abilities and their suggestibility,

  • pharma-cuticles! LMFAO bitches be crazy

  • A "refereed scientific journal"? LOL! Yeah, reviewed by a group of equally crazy peers. :)

  • How did he know about the throat thing did he research her medical history beforehand??

  • Pharma"cuticles" hehe.

  • It was cute how they did eenie-meenie-mynie-moe. Old people are so adorable. Especially the crazy ones. 8D

  • This is great!!!!Hahahahaha

  • I don't take pharma-cuticles either. ;-)

  • it'd be funny if she said "I had a cock in my throat" lol

  • Trouble sleeping? Alternative medicine? You don't say! HAHAHA.

Sorry I just had to say that. And this guy is freaking awesome, especially the first part with the image reading.

  • I bet most of the people that endorsed Derren probably found some of these videos and feel pretty stupid.

  • thats a possibility but they dont know his "real" name. also,it can take a lot of random video viewing to come up videos such as this. i(on one hand) ended up watching this after searching for cool chess tricks hoping for a way to shutup the chess geeks(no offense to intelligent people or those that are talented at chess) ,plus, i have never heard of darren brown since today.

  • He probably told them afterwards, because he needs a press release so he can show these peoples faces right? And they would have to sign them.

  • it would be funny if this lady wrote or mantioned Derrel in her book.

  • You mean "Richard" haha

  • "mentioned" "Derren"

  • just shows how hard it is to prove anything these days, and how easy it is to disprove

  • haha that old lady said "Pharma-cuticles" lol

  • Also, he could have seen a scar from the thyroidectomy on her neck and assumed she had a tumor or something. Given her background, it's hardly surprising that she'd be into non-traditional memories, and most people will always report trouble sleeping or being tired when asked.

  • But he didn't know if it was her or him. He probably tossed in some subliminal thing so that he'd make sure that she'd be the one to come up and touch him.

  • Height. She's a hunched over old lady and notice how he leans back. He can tell where and how her arms are set against him. Also, she's closest where the guy would have to walk around the table and other objects. He could probably just listen to their walk and tell the difference, but the largest thing is the way he leans back, because even and older man that tall is going to be pushing against him differently than an old lady.

  • Also possibly perfume. He takes a large breath

  • Fingernails. Most men don't have mancured nails. They're sharp & pointed.

  • The reasons so many abdustions take place during a "dream state" is due to hypnagogic hallucinations which share all the simularities that abductions share. Also see "shadow men" and the old legends of succubi and the like. It's a very, very common pattern and I usually experience a hypnagogic hallucination state once a week. It's just the point between waking and sleeping and people tend to have very similar bodily reactions and feelings.

  • Lol "Richard" like richard bandler haha

  • The first trick is really easy ;)

He says "dont say me how will come up". The woman seems to be the alpha woman =)

she takes the reposiblitiy for the conversation, so its easy to predict that she would do it. also woman tend to like such things more than we man ;)

  • he did this in a very clever manor. as the womans medical history is most likely on the internet, yet he might also have done it through his other methods not known to me. still their opinions are the interesting thing.

  • this is my church, this is where I heal my hurts

  • Pharma-cuticles :3

  • @T8R ahahahahahaaha pffffffffffffffffht pffffffffffffffht

    I farted there too

  • "I don't trust Western medecine." WOW. Sad. I wonder if she would start trusting if she had a bout with cancer or a heart attack.

  • Or got into a car accident... That's where western medicine is a necessity... Bone breaks, injuries that need immediate attention, etc.. amen..

  • Amen?

    What?

  • Exactly.. that woman is coo-coo! It's REALLY sad..

  • @Josh111485

Bill Schnoebelen - The Medical Conspiracy

Over many lifetimes it became a tradition to worry about how to get rid of a disease rather than what causes it. For example the reason why we get fevers is because a higher temperature allows the body to attack harmful bacteria. Trying to stop the fever only makes it worse. The point isn't that ALL Western medicine is bad, it's the tricks they play to get you thinking it's better and safer than it really is. Discern what she is saying.

  • @jmann114

Oh. That explain why the average life expectancy in countries practicing "western medicine" is so bad.

  • @blackplatypus

Let me guess. You didn't watch the video? What a surprise.

People actually used to live longer, mind you. Like I said, the point isn't ALL western medicine is bad. Stop reading only what you want to read. Learn how to discern. Take control of the brain you've been given.

  • @jmann114

"People actually used to live longer, mind you."

HAHAHAHAHA No. False. Wrong. WTF? You know it takes all of 5 seconds to google "life expectancy over time". What the hell numbers are you using? The bible's claim that Noah lived for 900+ years?

"Stop reading only what you want to read. Learn how to discern."

    Projection.

"Take control of the brain you've been given."

How very presumptuous of you to assume I haven't.

  • @blackplatypus

Yes, people were much closer to perfection than we are today.

The medical field is manipulated to make you believe western medicine is as good as it seems, when the cure for cancer is radiation being pounded into your body, hoping it kills the cancer before it kills you. Cancer cures are more common than ever, but they get you to believe that it is still impossible. They sell you Prozac (a fluoride compound) 20,000 percent over manufacture costs. Hooray for modern medicine!

  • @jmann114

"Yes, people were much closer to perfection than we are today."

Hahahaha Lol. Ok. If you're going to claim that any mammal can live for more than half a millenium, I see no reason to continue discussion with you.

Tell you what. I'll pass down this information to my kids and you can pick this up with my great, great, great, great, great grandchildren. Unless western medicine kills you first.

  • @blackplatypus

Not in this day and age.

    Pay attention.

  • @jmann114

Not in any day or age in recorded history.

  • @jmann114

"Cancer cures are more common than ever"

Lol K. Sure. Everybody knows how to cure cancer, we're just not doing it because we're assholes.

    "20,000 percent over manufacture costs."

Only 200 times manufacturing costs? That's better than text messages and some brands of sweets. You do realize that behind every drug that makes the market, there's the cost of research and development into dozens, possible hundreds that don't. Not to mention marketing and getting doctors to prescribe it.

  • @blackplatypus

Lol yes. The "cost of research and development" to make a fluoride compound that weakens the pituitary gland. Get real.

Not we, they. If you weren't aware of how things work, money talks. Look up Rick Simpson.

People lived longer before the flood. I'm sorry you can't understand that. There are people today that still live to be about 115.

  • @jmann114

    "Get real."

Pfizer alone didn't spent 9.4 billion on R&D in 2010.

    "Not we, they."

Conspiracy theorists are funny. "They" aren't curing cancer even though it's so totally easy. Sure thing. Where's your medical degree btw?

"People lived longer before the flood."

Oh yes. this magical flood that left zero geological evidence for its existence and required amounts of water that don't exist. Somehow, I don't think I'll put much stock in your ability to critically examine an issue.

  • @blackplatypus

    Wow... the stupidity...

First of all, I'd be careful with the word "conspiracy theory" it's dismissive beyond belief and obviously from your comment we see how brainwashed you've become. Like I said, money talks.

LOL. A medical degree? I need a medical degree to know the truth? What kind of stupid argument is that? The medical field is manipulated. I'm not saying I'm blaming the doctors, but the doctors are just taking what they learn [continued...]

  • @jmann114

"we see how brainwashed you've become"

Sure sure. Everyone who doesn't agree with you is a brainwashed drone or an evil conspirator.

"I need a medical degree to know the truth?"

I see no reason to take your opinion on how cancer works and the methods by which it can cured the slightest bit seriously unless you've got a modicum of actual experience in the field.

    "The medical field is manipulated."

yep. At no point has an honest person ever been a biochemist or research scientist

  • @blackplatypus

Don't fucking take my word for it! Do the research yourself you idiot. I love how every time you bring up an argument with somebody they expect you to fucking spoon feed them.

Watch the fucking video I mentioned instead of side stepping.

Yes, I am projecting. I am projecting how much of an idiot you are. Like I said, watch the video I mentioned, and DON'T stop there. Look up Rick Simpson and do research. Don't expect me to give you everything because you will deny it all.

  • @jmann114

"I am projecting how much of an idiot you are. "

You'd understand how hilarious this statement is if you knew what psychological projection was.

    "watch the video I mentioned"

What, you don't have any actual studies to link? I can watch videos all day by people who think crystals are magic or that we never went to the moon. That's not research. Got anything peer reviewed? Oh wait, I remember, we don't want to cure cancer.

  • @blackplatypus

[continued...] go around preaching about peer-reviewed this peer-reviewed that are blind to that fact. I want you to do your own research so you can reach your own conclusion. They've done hundreds of studies at Harvard on hemp oil and it is proven beyond a doubt that it is the best and most effective thing for treating, and curing cancer among other things. Learn about big pharma.

And no, I am not using "psychological projection". Using big words doesn't make you right.

  • @blackplatypus

[continued...] And no, psychological is not a big word. The fact that you even used psychological projection shows me you're trying to deflect the issue.

  • @jmann114

I'm sorry, did you just link me stuff on hemp oil's effects on cancer as if this isn't already well-known amongst anyone who keeps up to date on the literature?

This has been being researched for years! Clearly, though, you haven't grasped the difference between "somewhat effective treatment for type of cancer X, Y and Z" and "Cure for cancer"

    Citations: Pub med ID 18354058

    J Clin Invest. 2009;119(5):1359–1372.

No room for more but I can find dozens. This isn't news.

  • @blackplatypus

Yes, it can cure most types of cancer (if found early enough, and even if found in late stages) when used consistently. Obviously this is not as well known as you think it is, and it is still being outlawed by the federal government. It is not "somewhat" effective. It's more effective than radiation and chemo, and yes, it's both a treatment and a cure if used consistently.

Peer-reviewed isn't always what you think it is. Sometimes it's biased. You people who [continued...]

  • @jmann114

"It's more effective than radiation and chemo, and yes, it's both a treatment and a cure if used consistently."

Cool. Go submit an article to a medical journal.

"I want you to do your own research so you can reach your own conclusion."

Lololol. No, you want me to agree with you. I've actually gone to the trouble to read the studies. I seriously doubt you have.

  • @jmann114

"They've done hundreds of studies at Harvard"

I notice there's no citation there.

    "Learn about big pharma."

As if I haven't. Sure, I don't agree with you, so clearly, I just don't know how the pharmaceutical industry works. Get your head out of your ass. What experience do you have in the field?

"Using big words doesn't make you right."

I'm terribly sorry if words like "psychological" are too big for you. Would you prefer "brain-stuff"? I forget that some people aren't educated.

  • @blackplatypus

Hahahaha. Ok, go crawl back under your bed now and wait for somebody to tell you the truth.

No, I don't want you to agree with me. I want you to come to your own conclusion. You keep preaching about medical journals and this and that. Are you fucking stupid? You can't deny it if it works. There have been tons of people who have been given months to live and turned away from chemo and radiation to give hemp oil a chance and it worked out FAR BETTER than anything [continued...]

  • @jmann114

"I want you to come to your own conclusion"

At any point during this exchange did I give the impression that I hadn't? Clearly, it's not "my own conclusion" unless it's your conclusion.

"There have been tons of people..."

    [Citation Needed]

"I don't have to have experience in big pharma to separate the truth from the lies."

Yeah, clearly, you've found a way to do that *without* knowing how the industry works.

  • @blackplatypus

    Ok fucking dumbass.

    Hahahaha. Ridiculous.

  • @jmann114

"lot of people in the medical field TURN DOWN alternative treatments because they've been told western medicine is the best thing since sliced bread"

Lolwut? Oh this totally works to fix my patient's cancer but no, it's not "western" enough?

"they're actually doing a huge disfavor."

    [Citation Needed]

  • @blackplatypus

[continued...] the medical field has to offer. I don't have to have experience in big pharma to separate the truth from the lies. And I've never said a biochemist or research scientist has never been honest. You're putting words in my mouth. What I mean is a lot of people in the medical field TURN DOWN alternative treatments because they've been told western medicine is the best thing since sliced bread. Doctors think they do their patients a favor when they [continued...]

  • @jmann114

"the doctors are just taking what they learn From school without trying to find the truth out for themselves."

Clearly, you don't understand how the process goes. You don't get your doctorate without a dissertation. Finding out the truth for yourself, ie. research and experimentation is REQUIRED. Derp harder.

"You'll deny anything simply because it's not what you were brought up thinking. "

More projection. Also, You still haven't provided evidence for any of your claims

  • @blackplatypus

[continued...] turn them away from hemp oil, when they're actually doing a huge disfavor. Hemp oil works far better than anything they give you in the medical field and this is why they want it illegal.

In no way am I trying to get you to agree with me. Obviously you won't agree with me until you do the research yourself. You can't deny the truth.

  • @blackplatypus

[continued...] From school without trying to find the truth out for themselves. They think what they learn in college is the truth, and it isn't. If you honestly think the medical field is telling you everything there is to know you have a wake up call coming your way. You'll deny anything simply because it's not what you were brought up thinking. Keep living in your fantasy world.

  • everyone can read informations before meeting someone..

  • COLD READING.. that's how it's done fellas.. "you had trouble sleeping.....some time..." everyone's had issues sleeping at one time..

  • hahahaha I LMAO when people give silly interpretations to Derrenes shows!!!!

pls don't get me wrong, but things are never as simply as they seem!!!

  • Well yes and no

What Derren uses is a blend of several principles and techniques (such as hot/cold readings).

So giving a guess as how he does the trick, as different people would guess different building blocks/techniques.

If you put them together, I'm not saying you'll understand the trick, but it is very interesting.

Actually my point is(cause I lost my train of thought while writing :D), why call them "silly" people?

  • UFO and aerial phenomenon investigators are obsessive people, so they would likely be insomniacs. Also, they have that whole "big brother is watching" mentality, so they probably place more trust in herbal remedies than in pharmaceuticals because those companies are in bed with the Federal government (who is poisoning our water, lol). If you look on any conspiracy web page, there is almost always a link to some herbal medication site, water purifiers, "all-natural" products, or things like that.

  • Or he could have googled her before meeting up... She is quite famous as he said.

  • I'm amazed by your ability to lump all "conspiracies" into one big generalization and then to scoff at it like it is all one grand joke. I believe it is more ridiculous to take the word of anyone within a position of authority for anyone with the slightest understanding of history amongst societies. Really, I welcome you to do a little research into the history of water fluoridation and the many cases of arsenic in water supplies. Water at one time was regulated to ensure it had less than 1/10..

  • of what is now recommended of the minimum amount in water supplies. I also encourage you to look at statistics by the world health organization proving no significance in tooth decay between fluoridated and fluoridated countries. Look at the countries that not only don't have fluoride in their water but have a ban against it. Crazy countries like Sweden and France and 98% of Europe who have universal dental coverage. But clearly they don't care about teeth because they only foot the bill...

  • for dental care. They are clearly behind the times of us in medical development. I mean, we have been using fluoride for nearly a century. When will these countries that have higher live expectancies get it through their head that countries who implement fluoride ( the US, China, and Australia) are right and they are wrong.

  • hahahahahaha pharmacuticles

  • he could have easily researced them before hand. If she's a ufo nut its most likely shes into herbal crap. And everyone likes to believe their pure and healthy

  • ps. pharma cuticles... that's comedy.

  • what weirds me out is that he has at least two camera men and a boom guy with him every time he's interviewing these people, and there's obviously alot edited out. not that he's being insincere or whatever, but it would be interesting to know what is being left out.

  • what a nice little old lady and yet its sad that they wasted there life on ufo shit!

    Sad really

  • whats even sadder are all the lives that have been wasted due to christianity! I saw him do things crazier than what actual pastors have ever done and now i know its all a fraud

  • It's common for middle aged women to have their thyroid removed. Afterwards, they have to take thyroid medication everyday for the rest of their lives. Most likely he saw the medication somewhere.

  • very cool... and it's a million times cooler even since he's doing it to show how superstitious claims are nothing but sharlatan actors promoting bogus beliefsystems.

  • He didnt do the show to prove that all religion is bullshit, which he actually mentioned alot through the show.

  • I wonder what if both of them had placed one hand on Darren's back :).

  • That "purity", and no chemicals bullshit was a gimme. She's a ufo author and obviously a complete flake

  • My guess: when he showed up at their house, he asked to use the bathroom. While there, he checked out their medicine cabinet to see what kinds of medications they were on.

    Very clever and elegant trick.
