So, yes free will is free will, but the discussion has always been, do you "choose" because of upbringing/conditioning (reaction to) or is it genetic?

Of all the truly horrible people I've ever come across (lots, unfortunately), the majority are theists (usually Christian fundamentalists). The particular video that you're spamming only shows an unproven (we need to see paperwork, not a staged powerpoint) presentation of someone's attempt to reduce fanatical and irrational behavior, none of that has to do with assessing righteousness. You need to find a better video to support your theories.

Like typing on a computer, sending messages at near the speed of light around the world, taking modern medicine, driving a car, flying or anything else. The one thing I don't do that is unnatural is worship a giant fairy in the sky. Comparing Consensual sex between adults to rape, when the Catholic Church has recently said the rape and lesbian rape of a nun in kerala is "Trivial" just shows how terrible the theistic mind is.

They are trying to say that genes predetermine absolutely everything about us which insists on a predestination that would infringe on the basic human freedoms that they claim to fight for. If our genes determine everything then there would be no more freedom then thinking that God controls everything. There is no absolute control from anything. Ok, the NEXT step would then be to engineer a VIRUS to CORRECT the GENETIC DISEASE. Hey, that sounds like a good science fiction story. A scientist releases a virus into the world which destroys religious faith by LITERALLY changing your mind. @darkownage2 I think the word "choice" is used in a differnt context. I believe "pre-determimed choice" might be a better word(s) . They mean you have a pre-disposition, due to dna, to "choose". So, yes free will is free will, but the discussion has always been, do you "choose" because of upbringing/conditioning (reaction to) or is it genetic?

Because, at one level, the clip makes fun of religion, I think lots of people watching it will see it as "pro gay and Anti religion" BUT if you really follow through the logic of the satire being made (that it's absurd to think certain traits are genetic) then it follows that the clip is actually AGAINST the idea that homosexuality is genetic..
