This is beautiful- you have such talent to learn all this by ear!
But also, THANK YOU for this, because I've been trying to play the version that Hisaishi did, but couldn't work out the very last part. Your recording helped out a lot, and now I can play it so yay! Thank you very much!! x
i jus feel the pitch was too high compared to when i heard hisashi played other than that i think ur keys are right but having to learn this by simply hearing i must say it already is a big achievement how long did u hear the song 10 months?
beautiful version. im learning this piece for school right now, and that last part is tricky! also, your piano has beautiful resonance. those deep chords in the introduction are so lush. i wouldn't recommend such a big ritard at the first theme though, keep the speed like him. you should watch some of his concerts to see where he bends time. overall an excellent job!!! thanks for posting
Hey Guys! I am a 16 year old composer. Joe Hisaishi is a massive inspiration to me, so I would REALLY LOVE for EVERY Spirited Away and Joe Hisaishi fan to take a look at my music!!! In particular, I rewrote the music to the opening scene to Spirited Away! You can go straight to that with the link below!

This is awesome. And from learning by ear, wow. I almost thought this was a direct recording from Hisaishi himself. Brilliant.
