What was the reason Rick and Abby divorced?

Glad they address this. They didn't have any kind of closure at the end of their story. "You're always trying to do the right thing." - Funny, I thought Harley knew Josh. I wonder if Abby gave Michelle back the hairpin when she divorced Rick because it really should've stayed in the family.

I agree. Looking back, Josh and Reva's "love" was a force to be reckoned with.  Anyone who got involved with them were WARNED, HURT, and promptly DUMPED!!

Sometimes I wonder if Josh & Reva ever stop to think about the people they've hurt because of their "obsessive" love. Also, when I look back it was more of a Class Reunion than anything else.  Yet, I don't like Josh, his actions and his principles but then Harley should have known that for Josh, there's only one woman to love for now and for always and that's Reva.

Sets are not as good as they used to be, and they don't have as many cast members or extras.

I love seeing Harley and Josh arm in arm friends. They never show that relationship now.

Abby and Rick were such a sweet couple! I like Mel, but she and Rick just don't have the chemistry Abby and Rick had.

Soaps would never spend the money on something like this anymore. And I think you are right, the storytelling is not what it used to be.

Oh no, you are not wrong at all. I still love Guiding Light, but if the writers were as good now as they were years, ago, the show would not have been canceled.
