  • @alluring65 No because i have a high metabolism and i still get results what i do is i have a protein shake right before i work out, then after i work out i have creatine and another protein shake and i get pretty good results

  • Hey man I in general how long would it take for the human body to start showing results in muscles visually? It probably depends on the person and their diet?

  • @meaningsoflife Yea, you got it. Do some research and see where you stand. If you don't have a lot of fat to lose, it will be much easier for you to see "visual" muscle results. For example, I am 24 yrs old - 130 lbs and I saw results within a week. Of course you must enjoy a nutritious diet. There are many variables but you'll make it much easier if you eat well.

  • @wonkeytjuuuh yes sir...and my personal opinion from working out and what ive learned from my trainer is do 15 reps on one arm..then the other..when your arms are tired you gain more muscle so start with the stronger arm...do 15 reps on the stronger then the weaker right after...take a break..do that 2 more times..then sit in a chair and rest your elbow on the inside of your knee and flex with the weight..i went from a 15 to a 25 in a week and a 25 to a 30 in 2 weeks

    Yeah, so in total each arm has performed at least 15 reps.

    Reps in total would therefore be 30 :)

  • Hey man just curious. I am new to working out, and i need to get into shape. I am running about half a mile to a mile every other day but at home I have dumbbells and I need to work on stuff. Would you suggest this everyday and is this full body? Also, heavier weights lower reps or lighter weights higher reps?

    I'll just try and answer you:

    1. Every other day.

    2. Depends, do you have a good, nutritional diet and discipline? Do you burn more calories than you take? If yes on both questions, you can see a significant difference once every 2 weeks or so, given that you burn 500calories/day and you do it honestly.

    3. No. Simple thing is: Your muscles need rest just as much as your body. After working out, you have to wait until your muscles aren't sore anymore.

  • @KumiOfficial Nope. Those people that told you that are idiots. Your height is determined by your genetics therefore you will and I do mean that you will have the same height as one of your parents. I have my dad's genes so I'm a bit tall in height.

    If your parents, however, aren't of the same height, there are chances where you can be short for the rest of your life WITH OR WITHOUT working out as you may have gotten his or her genetics.

    So simple answer is: No. Very unlikely-- near impossible

  • @KumiOfficial Yeah if you need two dumbbells and your limitation is one dumbbell then take turns(example: do 5 reps one hand, do 5 reps with the other, repeat until you get to the set number(in this case, 15).

    I got 2 dumbbells but there are only two 10kg plates so I can only use one to make the most of my workout so I do it with turns and all that.

    Simple answer: Yes, possible. Take turns.

  • @fgdfhtrhg a rep is a lift of the dumbbell a set is how many times you should do the reps for example he says do 15 reps (lifts of the dumbbell) and do 3 sets which means do 15 lifts 3 times if you can :)

  • wow I suck at this...I WILL do this twice a day so that I can do it in the way I should be able to. I'm 160lbs and can barely do 1 set of 15 for each exercise, and this is with two (2) 15lb dumbbells. I really suck right now, but I'm determined to do all 3 sets of 15 and then work my way up with the lbs in the dumbbells!! Should I do a before and after picture to help motivate me?

  • @delta3303 This wokrout is to tone up, build some muscle and lose fat at home. However it is not a OUT AND OUT fat burning workout if that is what you are looking for. Try one of my full body 15 minutes workouts rather.

  • you are wrong the guy just asked you if he can keep his weight and you answered him that if he wants to burn he needs one of your full workouts!

  • @delta3303 This is not the workout to do to if you want to build muscle. There is no such thing as toning muscle, only burning fat or building muscle. this exercise uses a light load for an extended period, with will burn more calories than anything else. It is great for endurance, but sure as hell won't get you "jacked". If you want more defined muscles, you burn fat, that is it, for that this is a good work out. If you want bigger muscles, look up training for hypertrophy.

  • @d0wie I would do this every other day. If you can do it every day you probably not hitting it hard enought.

  • do i do all 3 sets of the exercise in a row then rest and move to new exercise... or do 1 set of the exercise and move on to the next exercise w/ no rest and repeat the circuit 3 times?

  • @chomchoyo Finish one exercise first so yes 3 sets of one exercise then move on. Another good way to do this workout is to do each exercise for 30 seconds and then move straight onto the next untill you have done them all and then repeat the circuit 3 times.

  • @markgoffeney Thanks :). I will do a full lower body or leg workout sometime soon. I prefer not to focus on just one muscle when it comes to the legs as somone might think that is all he has to do.

  • @moricestreet909 dont get me wrong :L... i have a fairly solid leg workout, my quads are developing well, and slightly vascular at the tear drop too :)

    its just apart from sprinting on cardio day (which is awesome for hams) i dont do any ham work, just quad, hip flexor and calves...
