i have done the 'installation' / copying and then the game run as should, but then you come out and later go back to play it and the dos screen just stays blank and wont run the game again
I got the original CD and downloaded the dosbox version in your link. I installed the game using that dosbox version and when I run the game everything works. The only thing is how do you get the 3dfx to work? Everything still looks blocky.
Awesome, that takes me back! I love the Carmageddon games. I looked on GOG but couldn't find any of them. Where did you get it? Also, do you know if there's a 3DFX build for the Mac version of DOSbox?
@revstevetb I've had this game for YEARSSSSS on CD. I don't think anybody is making custom builds for the Mac OS X version of DOSbox, so you'll have to use Linux or Windows. I may be wrong, though.
@scumbubbles1 Hell yeah. There's DOSbox for iPad/iPhone (iDOS), but it doesn't work properly with Carmageddon. It'll play, but it's soooooooooooooooooo slow.
i really missed this game ... gonna install it again now ^^
