@foreclosurecrisis Yeah and put a religious nut in charge who will overthrow the constitution by leaving EVERYTHING up to "State's rights" which means that the civil rights movement and integration would have never had their day had it had been left up toe the states! If the hard core leftists are 99% as they claim they can vote out the every right wing politician up for election and defeat every conservative ballot initiative and pass every liberal spending bill up for decision. That would not only make a huge collective difference it would change the course of future elections for the long term.

If 99% of voters show up at local elections and state elections and vote anti traditional government(non dem and non repub) then there will be massive change. That's my point. I suggest you guys ditch the megaphone though. It creates a power-dynamic interaction that is based on one person yelling to a group. The people's mic, adopted by necessity in Wall St, has one person speak and all those around repeat the speaker's words, in waves, until everyone in the crowd hears. This creates a sense of unity for all participants.
BTW, I'm pretty sure I could feel that powerful energy out there alll the way over here on the east coast! Wow, I MUST attend the Occupy Boston version!
As much as I can agree with complete love, light & pacifism-- I understand that there are times in life were you have to FIGHT & you have to RESIST in order to restore the love and balance that was lost.

I agree to a certain extend with lovedebpt but i think we should take action not by hitting the streets but by not paying our taxes and disassociating ourselves with the system. We need to stop taking our children to their schools so they won't be indoctrinated, we need our communities to have groups to teach our children real lessons about life and about the earth we live in. Organized by parents not institutions that set a curriculum that indoctrinates them with false facts and false beliefs

I suggest you guys ditch the megaphone though. It creates a power-dynamic interaction that is based on one person yelling to a group. The people's mic, adopted by necessity in Wall St, has one person speak and all those around repeat the speaker's words, in waves, until everyone in the crowd hears. This creates a sense of unity for all participants.

As much as I can agree with complete love, light & pacifism-- I understand that there are times in life were you have to FIGHT & you have to RESIST in order to restore the love and balance that was lost.

I agree to a certain extend with lovedebpt but i think we should take action not by hitting the streets but by not paying our taxes and disassociating ourselves with the system. We need to stop taking our children to their schools so they won't be indoctrinated, we need our communities to have groups to teach our children real lessons about life and about the earth we live in. Organized by parents not institutions that set a curriculum that indoctrinates them with false facts and false beliefs

Actually I have been experiencing these gatherings and protests personally.
What is actually happening for us in this "reality" as you say, Is actually a war we are creating ourselves through these very actions.
The very force we are "opposing", are the ones who are behind these protests. They are positioning us.
Do I sound delusional? Still trying to affect change through government? We are no longer a reality where this is possible. Align with Gaia and you will see.
