Per got me into sooooo much trouble once. I dont remember wot I did, but mum had banned me from watchin' Roxette for 2 weeks (it was hard, but yes, I got by... somehow), so I thought, ''yeh right'' so I picked a vid where they look real different (which just so happens 2 b Joyride) and when my mum caught me watchin' it, I told her it wasn't Roxette. It actually worked!.... Until Per screamed ROXETTE!! And blew it 4 me... then I eneded up with another week off...

I bought my very first new car (as opposed to an old, used one) when this song was a hit. I had an alarm installed on it, and the little gadget on my keychain that de-activated it made a sound very similar to the "Joyride" whistle. Whenever my brother rode with me and I hit the alarm button, he'd start singing "Joyride"... Good times.
