Yes, I have bathed all my kittens and the ones I have now I bathed them both at the same time when they were smaller. Now that they are 7.5 months old I bathe them separately. It takes just a few minutes to bathe them and it is not hard. They might scratch me once in a while but they are CATS after all.
Did you ever hear of a torture technique called "water boarding"? This is similar. And cruel.
I hold them at the chest. and they can put their paws up on the edge of the tub if they want.
It actually seems like a pretty good idea. That way, you can have more control over the cat if it does freak out and you can prevent it from getting injured. This is specially useful for a flea bath as you DON'T want that cat to run out into the house. If you get a nice big bag like the one suggested, the cat should be able to breathe and should suffer no harm or distress.
