that cause LONG term effects. A natural health food product has not ONCE contributed to ONE death in Canada. PHARMACEUTICALS HAVE. THEY have caused death, strokes, heart attacks. I see people everyday suffering. And I cant believe that guy has the nerve to say "we persuade people, and that they don't know what they are buying". That is RIDICULOUS. I WORK at a health food store, and if we feel its best that the customer take NOTHING at all, we will tell them that. We do NOT try to sell at all. It's about genuine CARE for other people. I would love to talk to that guy, compare that too the doctor hands someone a fucking prescription DRUG, that "THEY DONT KNOW WHAT THEY AR BUYING" AND gives them harmful side effects.

The problem is though, if this bill goes through and the things that you take are considered "narcotics" you would be charged a large sum of money or you would be sent to jail. So it isnt a matter of buying the products, its a matter of it not being illegal to do so.

This bill cant pass ... we cant let it.

That Doctor looks like he needs some Natural Health Foods himself. He says people need to be protected. Funny because there is not 1 case in the history of Canada of somebody dying from a Natural Health Product. Yet there are over 10,000 reported cases of Canadians dying from properly prescribed pharmaceuticals every year.
