  • Juice S2 or Swiss Army Cadet???? Keep up the good work.

  • review the skeletool nutnfancy!

  • Hey nutn, did you ever get your hands on the discontinued Squirt KF4 version?

  • Got the orange Juice when it came out. so funny watching the early TNP videos. Wish I had found out about TNP earlier. Love IT!!!

  • Nutnfancy 2016!!!

  • Great review, I just got an S2 and love it. A nice addition to my personal EDC.

  • is the tape on there because you engraved your real name on it? just curious lol

  • Thanks so much for making this review, I had purchased it awhile ago because of your review, it's held up great, Thanks again

  • What is that black strip on the multi-tool and what is it used for? Thank you in advance to anyone who might know.

  • @shysterlicious I think it's a piece of grip tape he added for some traction. It's something that nutn did, since it's not present on any others.

    Cheers, happy thanksgiving.

  • @NickSparkss You know, I was thinking the same thing. And a VERY Happy Thanksgiving to you as well and those closes to you:0)

  • You're limited to 10 minutes and you wasted 2 with something unrelated?

    FAIL!

Also, I like my S2. Has pretty much everything I need in a compact package. My only complain was the blade arrived razor sharp and cut me just trying to open and close.

I put a normal knife edge on it so the thing wouldnt fold over. Wire edge stinks for regular use.

  • Got mine today, great tool-However a few build quality issues with the vertical pins holding the Philips screwdriver and lanyard attachment it's not straight.Secondly the Orange cover on the frame has a small amount of movement on it ( same place as the mounting pin ),never had any quality issues with any of my other Leatherman MT's

  • at 5:44 you sounded like roger the a lien from american dad :)

  • Got an S2 because of your review. Thanks.

  • I just got my Juice S2 today and I absolutely love it!! It's so small, light and compact, yet has a great tool set. I was especially impressed with the scissors and how big they are for the size of the tool! This will replace my old PST as my EDC multi-tool. Got it from Cutlery Shoppe for a great price, and super fast shipping. Thanks for the discount code Nutn and for the awesome reviews! Keep em coming and LONG LIVE TNP!

  • just got my Juice S2 yesterday it is AWSOME! I'm an addict now! i didnt know what i was missing! its my first Leatherman ever and my first multi tool in 10 years!

  • it's been three years already and perhaps you might think about doing a update video for the juice. Perhaps stack it up to some of the current MTs on the market as of 2011. Just a thought. Keep up the good work.

  • @DigitalUrbanCamo total agree I have a S2 and love it but I was looking at leatherman's website the new juice has a Lanyard Ring which I think is a big plus. manly though I would like to know if Nutnfancy has tried either the juice Cs4 or the Juice Xe6 both of which look like they could overthrow the S2

  • @cipher315198 actually he explains in this video why the S2 and ze6 would not be a good choice....mainly because it has shit you wont use on it like a cork screw and a file so small it would be stupid to use practically.....not to mention you then add weight and its hardly an EDC choice and you mine as well just get the wave then....picked one up today and checked out all the other juices and they just add on "crap" s2 rocks...

  • @cipher315198 haha correction cs4 not s2....s2 is a slimmed down version

  • Got mine today very happy with it.. UK legal as non locking and less than 3" blade love it!

  • Those are superb scissors for such a compact MT.

I don't think Nutnfancy discussed the Juice's can opener / cap lifter, which is a shame, cause it looks WAY better than the kinda vestigial one on the larger Leathermans.

  • @classof77 it is a lot bether then the one on the wave

  • Very good EDC.

  • just order one. Thanks for the great reviews.

  • Excellent review as usual, I would like to know why people in the UK have to pay twice the price that you americans do!

  • cant decide between this and a squirt!

  • Just got the S2 Juice yesterday and i'm happy I bought it. Used Notjustknives prices to force Paragon sports to match it's price. I'm sure they were pretty pissed off about that.

  • Just curious as to what type plane you fly?

  • @TyrantsAREhere I don't remember what he flew, but he's now retired from the Air Force.

  • did anyone else notice that the nylon sheath said ripoff...

  • @BLVColetrain You noticed the pun. Congratz, lol.

  • I know it's been a while since you made this video, but I would really appreciate a response. Do you get any side-to-side wiggle with the blade? I do get a little with mine and I was wondering if I should send it back to the place I purchased it from for a refund. Thanks.

  • large plier heads are great, but if you don't have the handle to back it, they tend to be an overkill. But the large scissors: Nice!. The knife blade would be sweet if the cutting edge came all the way down to the handle, for carving. Other than that, great review and the quality looks superb!

  • Great vid, excellent tool. I have made a custom leather neck pouch for this. Have a look on youtube channel YOYOBOY666999

  • Thanks for the reviews on leatherman multitools, I'm looking at picking up my first multitool soon and I've learned to take your opinion very seriously.

    Keep up the good work!

  • another great review, nice job :)

  • I would rather carry 2 more ounces and upgrade to the juice xe6. You get way more tools.

  • @jrobertsrhs nevermind you dont need half of them for edc

  • I have a big issue with the scissors-argument. Now I know that nutnfancy always carry a secondary knife, but a lot of people don't; especially in countries where a clean knife might be illegal like in Sweden. The skeletool cx 154cm steel onehanded opening (and closing) with safty lock is utterly invaluable. It's really big and tough for a lightweight multi tool and the same way nutnfancy feels about speed. I feel about time, the quicker the better, even it's a matter of ½ second.

  • you use can opener frequently? show us how ? how you open a can with this ? try not to lie !

  • @Olympic99: It's a can opener....

  • the juice s2 or the squirt ps4 for my edc, i would get the s2 if it could go on my key chain without ruining my ignition in my car but it looks a lot nicer then the ps4, any advice. and the price doesn't make a difference for my

  • Does anyone have experience with the Juice pliers adjusting bicycle brake cables? This is the hardest use I absolutely need to be able to depend on my multitool for, and if I could lose the over four ounces of weight by downgrading from my (excellent) wave, that would be ideal. Also, how does the juice phillips compare to the standard wave phillips I'm used to? (the newer wave--I mean the included phillips/flat bit)

  • Comment removed

  • @Alfox94 i have a juice s2. he's refering to the head diameter. the length is actually pretty decent for the overall size of the muititool.

  • It looks great but I can't afford five of them that would be about $300

  • yes, you talk alot but it is the best reveiw of the leatherman juice i have ever seen

ps. the leatherman surge is better than the leatherman charge Ti (Tti) :D

  • Cool multi-tool, but I don't like the blade shape at all. If it had a drop-point or something like that it would be much better in my opinion.

  • SOG is big too!!!

  • @ackthet Either he put on some athletic tape for traction or he had engraved his name into it and didn't want it to show (understandably). I think he or Veri answered this earlier, I just forget the answer.

  • I noticed you have a piece of what looks to be electrical or duct tape on it. Any reason?

  • i have black junk oozing from the pivot of the pliers onn my Juice S2, does anyone else have this problem?

  • So you use the gray one for in the military(air-force?) and keep the orange one for edc?

  • Have had mine for a month now & use it everyday @ work...have the Wave for home & love that too!

  • What do people use sissors for all the time?

  • @captainpegs07 I personally have the leatherman Micra. i use the scissors for opening snack wrappers. sometimes they are just really hard to get started. and i have had several of them open in an explosive manner, that is my snack ends up on the floor and not in my stomach. all it takes is a little snip to get it going then it's easy to open. i carry a knife (spyderco Delica 4) however i find that scissors are easier to use on such a simple task.

  • Due to this review, I bought a Juice S2 about a year ago just before a 3 week teen trail maintenance crew trip. Since then, it's left my side once, so I could get on an airplane. It has everything I need, nothing I don't, (e.g. bottle opener), and works like a charm. It took me a while to work out the can opener, as I was used to the sharp-edged swiss army knife, and even now the S2 sometimes can't fully cut can lids. (Solution: rip off the lids with pliers) Just a datapoint from my experience.

  • 1 out of 10 how does Nutnfancy feel?

  • Regarding the Ripoff pouch. what model number is that?

  • @Mecha04 I have the newer version of the Ripoffs pouch nutnfancy shows...IIRC it's the CO-37.

  • I wish they would put a toothpick and tweezers in it. THEN it would be perfect!

  • Just got my Leatherman Juice S2 today! It's awesome! I can see what you are saying about the 4 oz limit now that I have this MT in my hands. The size (more width than length) and weight of the S2 is on the top end (almost too much) for what I would want for EDC.

  • Thanks Nutn, once again you have helped

  • hey nutin, how come we dont know your real name? can you tell us?

  • @damndan05 He's said that it's for security reasons, if you get his name, you can find him. He has recieved death threats, and however realistic they may be, he can't risk his or his family/friends safety.

  • Love the Vid.. Just p;icked up my first Juice S2 from YCS in the cool grey color. Only thing missing is a cap lifter, although I haven't tried the can openner to see if that will work for that job. Also my knife is almost a quasi tanto design, but that shouldn't be a big problem. One other thing, the Sheath also is almost the perfect size for my extra LCP mag. BONUS for you guys looking for a .380 mag carrier. Keep up the great work!

  • just got mine today, and once again I'm not disappointed. This is by far the most quality multi-tool I've ever handled. It's light and sleek, and doesn't have the mumbo jumbo I don't need. It has a home along with my Fenix LD10 flashlight in my edc, all thanks to Nutnfancy.

  • great video...i got mine today woohoo

  • bought one finally

  • I don't know why some of these people are angry about you talking so much. I enjoy your personal insight on how well a tool like this is and even if you ramble off topic one might just learn something about another tool they should look at. Anyway great review and I'm almost certain I will be getting a juice in the near future. thanks!

  • i just got my juice s2 and they dont spring back open, does anyone know why? in fact the plyers are quite sticky.

  • @OgrAdaY The Squirt model will stay open, but nowhere near the multi tool for the money. Just dose the pliers with a bit of Ballistol, or other lube, and work them a bit, they will loosen up. My Juice is the same way, as was my Wave, but they work out in time with use.

  • I got one brand new and notice that the handles when close are uneven, id it supposed to be like that? thanks

  • @super21g its because of the extra tool on that side of the handle

  • Leatherman products are awesome! Thanks for the vid NutN'

  • Another good video

  • ive already ordered the charge tti but this will definatly be my next multi-tool.

thanks for posting this vid man!

  • Anyone who would rather like to buy or, also really want to buy, the discontinued Juice KF4 can sign the petition! Google: petitiononline kf4

  • @MoSeSfAbLe So don't watch..problem solved. Next! -- Veri (Nutn's sister)

  • @nutnfancy You TOLD him... Do you know what that black line is on that juice s2?

  • @MoSeSfAbLe You do realize you can skip ahead...

  • @MoSeSfAbLe owned

  • Good review. Good tool. If you buy this in "Storm Gray", be aware that it's not actually gray...it's purple! You can't see this in internet pictures, only when light hits it. Kinda funny, doesn't bother me or lessen my appreciation for this fine tool, but some people might not like that.

  • oh man this cut off my msg...

    i was saying,

the fullsize leatherman scissors style cs are amazing

you should check them out if you need scisssors alot like me lol

thanks again for all yor videos

thanks for getting me into tmp lol

  • just wanted to say thanks cool video also myself i use scissors alot a few times everyday so i plan too carry, 2 multi tools just because, i need great scissors i carry the skeletool in the leatherman case which is amazing case, sidepockets and all this is the velcrow leatherman case has the front an back pockets also 2 side pen pockets im sure you know it lol itp aos3 mini flashlight 3 aa li ion batterys 2 scripto mini lighters and ive attached 25ft paracord to it amazing case holds a l
  • Awesome review. I carry one with me everywhere and use it at least 3-4 times a day. Only complaint is the blade steel is very soft on the two I own.

  • is there a fire starter on the side/?

  • just ordered this from amazon based on your review...thanks nutn, cant wait to get it!

  • zoom out on reviews

  • Fantastic review as always ~!!!! VERY helpful.

One thing I noticed about Juice S2 ... slippy on hands makes me nervous especially when I pull out that long blade...

  • One of the best things about Leatherman is their customer service. I flogged my old Supertool for years. Construction, utility, I did everything except prepare food with it. When I sent it back for repairs, I was told it needed replacing it was so bad. But no Supertools, so they gave me the closest one they had in stock at the time, which was the Leatherman Core. They upgraded me free of charge!

  • Victorinox FTW!

  • i didint hear you mention the price, can i get the price of it brand new?

  • try the victorinox swss tool ! its 1000000000000000 times better than that

  • i got one a couple week ago and i love it. i think everyone should carry at least this. The only thing i dont like is that sand and crap gets in between the color scale and the skeletonised liner inside. so it sound all crunchy when you firmly squeeze it no biggie tho im sure a shot of air would clear it out

  • i have a leatherman juice kF4

  • So I got this multitool today. I really like it, but the flat head screw drivers are VERY hard to get out, they seem pretty easy for you. Did you have to break them in or anything?

  • That little black strip on your juice is covering up your real name engraved. huh nutn? Not that I blame you.

  • 8:59 is that a tattoo on nutn??

  • Hey thanks, you really helped me pick a MT. Youtube is better than tv because of people like you man.

  • I have the Leatherman SC2. It is this exact multi-tool with the addition of a corkscrew. Some people may not need a corkscrew, but working in the job I do, I love having the corkscrew. AWESOME multi-tool for EDC. Great review!

  • I'd take the Skeletool CX just for its bit driver and cool knife, I'm half & half on scissors since its got a blade and all. What exactly do you need to cut that requires scissors? or do you mean cutting stuff in a public places?

  • This was a waste of time to watch or should I say LISTEN to. I enjoy reviews, however this fellow just rambles & looses my attention! I want to see the knife opening up all the tools and I want to hear only the facts about this peticular knife. I do not like a lot of small talk about how many he has or personal opinions etc. I do not think the focus should be on his well manacured hands that look like they never did a hard days work. With hands like his he should be doing a video on hand cream.

  • @lorensexton Thanks for the view. -- Veri

  • @nutnfancy HAHAHAHAHAAHAH

  • @lorensexton

oh get over it if you dont like watch someone else nutns the best at this noone can beat the info he gives.

  • @lorensexton the reason why his talking instead of showing is becouse his trying to give us good infomasion that can be useful... and its hard to remember everithing if you jumb right in to the rewiew his talking first so hi will not forget anithing ps.sorry my english and im not trying to be nasty

  • @lorensexton You have a lot to learn about TNP.

    Or not. Laters!

  • @lorensexton If you don't like it, go somewhere else. The rest of us want to know his valued opinion on the Juice s2.

  • @lorensexton Some people appreciate all that "gabbing", believe it or not. As an student pursuing an industrial design degree, I find Nutnfancy's opinions on the specifics of a design to be very valuable. If people didn't talk about good design and offer up criticisms of bad design, then we would live in a very user-unfriendly world.

  • @kinzz97 I realize you are asking Nutn's opinion on which you should buy, but I'll put in my two cents. I would go with the multi tool over the knife. Price vs capabilities, the multi tool wins out every single time. A good quality knife is a must for EDC, but a good quality multi tool should come first IMO. Maybe this helps....

  • i can't decide! :( Should i get this multitool or the spyderco tenacious???? I seriously need help. Plz reply soon

  • @kinzz97 i use rock, paper, scissors for all my serious decisions.

  • @kinzz97 get both!

  • Can I put this on my keys?

  • fanny pack?

  • is this knife legal in the UK? and what age do you have to be to buy a knife i the UK?

  • @wikigeek yes and 18

  • "Yea, it's made out of leather..." but it's a LEATHERman!

  • What's wrong with a leather sheath? That used to be a good thing.

  • If they put a flashlight on that it would have everything.

  • @Wolf9661 it also needs a file ~!

  • What do you use on your leatherman in order not to be so stiff?

  • you should up-grade you fanny pack to a nice cammel back you would look badass lol

  • @goodnightChesty1775 why update a system that works just fine?

  • Hey nutn, I just noticed that Leatherman freestyle CX, which is basicly just a set of pliers and a blade.

I own a juice S2 myself and for the life of me I can't see any reason why someone would even consider that freesytle, despite the fact it has a more dedicated blade.

But thinking of it, I'd rather take an additional knife with me like a flash 1, a Buck Bantam nano or a Gerber paraframe mini along with the Juice.

  • Leatherman is on the cutting edge, you witty dog, you.....thanks for all your great vids, professional and useful information we all would do well to learn from, and act upon....God bless and keep up the fantastic work !

  • i didnt hear anything after fanny pack! was laughing to hard! lol.. sorry.. like the leatherman!!!!

  • i want to buy this thing, but i can't figure out if it comes with a sheath from amazon.com... or if i have to order one. and the wonderful ladies over in india can't give me a straight answer.

  • does any one do a muit-tool that doesn't have a knife?

  • @legomattww yes. on the leatherman website they have a knifeless fuse.

  • Nice review. This is a great tool, but I had to break in the screw drivers. It was really hard to open them out when I first got the tool.

  • What's the purpose of the black tape? I notice you have them on several of your multi-tools.

  • how does this compare to the victorinox craftsman/handyman?

  • whats that knife at the beginning called id like to get one but i cant find it on google or youtube if u know plz tell me

  • i bought it today it would be perfect except it has three flatheads i would rather have something else in that space like a saw

  • your scissor has surations on the tip

  • Hi there nutnfancy, I am debating over this and a swiss army champion. I would really use it more as a "do anything" knife but I would also like to take it with me camping.

  • this or the cs4 plz replay fast

  • 2:41 rememorize

  • can you use the plaiers to crack a nut

  • @MrPlaystationboy try ;)

  • imo there is 4 categories. Multi-tools, pocket knives, leathermans and victorinox. Both companies are in a different league. Victorinox has reached perfection leatherman is on its way

  • my juice XE6 arrived today!! It rocks, and with the sheath so amazing and realible tool.

  • I finally made the move to the Juice S2. I had the Gerber vise in my EDC until recently. I really needed scissor capabilities and I was out of luck with the Gerber Vise and most other small multi-tools! I also like the upgraded pliers, and other tools. I am missing all of the tools being external access, but it is a comprise like everything else. Thanks for the great reviews.

  • how much was the centofante III

  • buy 5 of them today he he he he ye good man we all need 5 of the same multi tools and we all have loads of money to waste on 5 multi tools :) good man lolz

  • Seems like you keep your S2 in a relatively good shape. My scissor doesnt move quite as smooth as yours. Can you tell me what I can do to fix it?

  • @ll38071614

Hm, might have some nicks in it that need sharpening out...that and a lil Break Free CLP ought to do it.

  • Comment removed

  • @aj45colt will they fix it for me or just give me another one do you know?

  • I love this review you gave, although I already have my S2 for almost 2 years! And I totally agreed w/ everything u said. My college roommate has a skeletool and he insists his is better than the S2 but he never got around carrying it w/ him cause its not as useful like u said.

  • what does that anodize wear like? great review as always keep up the great work much appreciated kind regards

  • 420HC steel is a higher carbon version of the 420 steel. 420HC steel has .4 to .5% carbon and about 13% chromium. This is a lesser quality steel but when it is properly treated like Buck Knives does, it produces a good general purpose knife steel with good corrosion resistance and edge holding ability.

  • YEAH i get my Juice S2 Orange. To hold it on my belt there is a platikclip. It hold strong on the belt you can pull so hard you want it dont get off. Then i go to test the sharp of the blade. I cut from a wall down buildfoam from a wall. It cuts through the foam like butter and make a cut on the concrete. Later i test the sharp with a a4 Page and it isnt any blunt after this. Really good tool and you dont notice it on your belt it is so easy. I think i buy a second one :-)!

  • where buy you the Leatherman Juice S2?

  • 8:50 My Surge can can do that, I never knew. That is what that hole is for! Thanks!

  • @dragonfelow17 the surge is overated

  • @salesspyder How is the Surge overrated?
