You are wrong. E-green is the same like standart core clock 675, memory clock 1800, but it consume less power and dont have sli. (You can easily overclock it to 760 and 2300, but of course you need better cooler)
Actually E-Green version consumes a lot less power. If I remember correctly it only requires 450W PSU. So, theoretically it is less powerful than the standard GTS 250. If you can afford spending extra £20-30, I'd recommend getting the standard version. You don't expect a car with 1.3L engine to run the same as a car with 2.5L engine. Same story here.
