Went to see CHER Aug. 6 and she almost canceled because she was sick...but still went on. She put on a great show and she was sick. You could hear it in her voice when she talked to us. She was really genuine and great to the audience. I am glad she did NOT cancel--great show.
Sorry to hear she cancelled. I guess I was one of the lucky ones that she did not cancel. I would have been very disappointed. I wonder if she'll continue on in Vegas..and continue to cancel shows.

Im a big cher fan but to be totally honest I thought the show was a BIG disappointment. I mean when you are taking over a ground breaking performance such as "A new day" people are expecting a lil more then just cher and a few dancers.

I just saw Cher in Vegas on Wednesday night. It was outstanding!!! They shortened the stage. the LCD screen is still there, you can see it in the background. The set up for Cher's show is different from the set up for the Bette Midler Show.
Dont get me wrong this looks and sounds like an amazing show but am I the only one whos is a bit bored of her doing the same set list opening... theres so many better songs than "I still havn't found what Im looking for" maybe she sings it coz she hasnt found a new song to open with LOL now i know all u Cher fans will slag this comment off but im a big fan but just want somthing a bit new :( x

It's been the same since the Believe Tour. The only thing that's change since then has been the outfits, and the videos, but the set up is always the same. I was hoping that Vegas would be different, but, I was wrong. I just think is lazyness and un willingness to sit down and look through stuff.

That's not neccesarily true. Celine was supposed to release a DVD of her show, during it second year (when she had short blond hair), it did get recorded. But after she saw it, she hated it, so it wasn't released. In the mean time, they released a CD of the show. So, they don't have to wait until Cher's contract at cearsars expires, they could record a show for a DVD regarless.

Dont get me wrong this looks and sounds like an amazing show but am I the only one whos is a bit bored of her doing the same set list opening... theres so many better songs than "I still havn't found what Im looking for" maybe she sings it coz she hasnt found a new song to open with LOL now i know all u Cher fans will slag this comment off but im a big fan but just want somthing a bit new :( x

i agree with you. I'm a cher fan but she should do something new. She has many great songs, or she could take many other songs. Hope people won't start saying that she always do the same in all her shows since the believe tour because it will start to be true.

It's been the same since the Believe Tour. The only thing that's change since then has been the outfits, and the videos, but the set up is always the same. I was hoping that Vegas would be different, but, I was wrong. I just think is lazyness and un willingness to sit down and look through stuff.

You are right!!! She has been saying that she would do a different show but it's the same show as always. The fareweel tour made many people say that she was doing the same all the years, now she return to stage and i was really waiting her to do something different, but no.

The only thing new about the show is the costumes and the videos and and two new songs. Nothing else has changed. I'd rather for a DVD than waste money on the "Believe in Farewell Tour Live At The Coliseum."

That's not neccesarily true. Celine was supposed to release a DVD of her show, during it second year (when she had short blond hair), it did get recorded. But after she saw it, she hated it, so it wasn't released. In the mean time, they released a CD of the show. So, they don't have to wait until Cher's contract at cearsars expires, they could record a show for a DVD regarless.

yeah I know, I've visted some sites too so I've seen the discussions. Those people who think this is another version of the farewell tour are completely out of their minds! I haven't seen the show yet but from what I've seen and heard how people described it, it didn't seem anything like the Farewell or Believe tours.
