I have no correct answer to the problem of deforestation or destroying natural grass lands for agriculture. We need jobs and food. I would estimate the population is at least ten times what is was when native Americans roamed the land.Even if we return the the ways of respect for nature and land as the indigenous peoples their would not be enough resources to support our present population.I hope someone can provide a solution before the earth poisons us.

and you take the message the wrong way. We are not all equal. But we all live off of the same organism. Every living thing on this earth. That makes us one. I honestly do not find humans in that equation. You take humans out of the picture and the earth would probably flourish. Yes it would have its moments of destruction but that would be a result nature's actions. Not the parasitic actions we have taken as a whole.

I have no correct answer to the problem of deforestation or destroying natural grass lands for agriculture. We need jobs and food. I would estimate the population is at least ten times what is was when native Americans roamed the land.Even if we return the the ways of respect for nature and land as the indigenous peoples their would not be enough resources to support our present population.I hope someone can provide a solution before the earth poisons us.

Such very true words spoken!!!! Hopefully people will listen with their minds and hearts!!!! Where i live their doing clear cutting just to make room for stores we don't even need and that saddens me to no end, plus their clear cutting just to widen roads that never needed widening!!!!! I remember all the beautiful trees that used to be there and when you could drink the water right from our streams, now they are full of pollution and no one is doing anything about it!!!!! I want to change that
