Street rod are so out of fashion these days. Any american hotrod or wannabe hot rod is no longer cool, and just look cheesey. Nowadays there's something much better. Rat Rods and anything else you see at somewhere like the Hot rod Hayride.
Im sorry but those kind of hotrods will have nothing on true american hotrods... like the impala..but looking at what they had to work with its not exactly bad...
@tarmacghost ....and for the record.....if you think that half the "true American hot rods" look like crap......then you're looking at one tenth of American hot rods.

There's just something about a big flashy slow car with a huge displacement motor that is just eye popping sweet candy... Really no matter who makes it... That aren't a Hot Rod here in Australia its a classic or a street machine.A Hot Rod is a pre 1948 vehicle that uses the original or re manufactured chassis.

this is an old top gear from 90s.
top gear has been around since the late 70s.
jeremy clarksons been in top gear since the 80s and so was tiff nidell from fifth gear
until 2000.
