@AiDz0r i believe the t2i, has a 60fps. but i remember someone telling me our eyes can only see 30fps . correct me if im wrong. I have the t2i, its pretty good with video, dont have problems with it but only purchasing the right sd card. you'll need a really fast one

@Db3st0794 I know what you are saying, but as far as i know its the "refresh rate" set on a monitor. Secondly Youtube locks it at 30FPS but i want 60FPS because it record 60 Frames in 1 Second so mathematically, when you are slowing the video down, it would be more slower and fluent then normal cameras.

the t2i's price probably will not drop because Canon is introducing the T3i as a new model. The t3i is not replacing the t2i. That's what I was told.

Still no continuous auto focus during video, meaning it remains completely useless for normal people shooting things like kids and pets running around. Manual focus just is not practical. A major disappointed to any family member.

The Sony a33/55 remains the better choice.

Canon seems to "renew" older models almost once a year. I just got a 60D this week and if I KNEW the 600D were to be launched I'd rather get the 600D instead. The only thing I see "better" on the 60D is the slightly faster frame rate and the ergonomics.

@geonlansis And the dedicated aperture wheel in the back, the larger+brighter pentaprism viewfinder versus the pentamirror of the Rebels, the easily accessible setting buttons on the top right of the camera, the mode dial lock, the 9 cross-type AF sensors versus only one cross-type AF sensor on the Rebels, and the list goes on.

I've been doing photography for a while now, and I'd take an xxD camera over a Rebel anyday. Those differences have a huge impact on my photography.

@supertut97 Get the T3i when it comes out. Its the same as the T2i (which does great video) but with the flip-out screen so you have more flexibility with shooting angle. Not sure if you are aware but auto focusing while shooting video is really crap on Canon DSLR, exposure changes, its slow and noisy (due to inbuilt mic). I think all vids I have seen on YT are either pre-focused or manual focused. If you want autofocus maybe look at Sony. I still prefer Canon.

@supertut97 Internally the T3i is almost identical to the T2i. Video on both cameras can be captured at 1080p at either 24, 25 or 30 frames per second or 720p at 50 or 60 fps. There are two ways of doing timelapse on the T2i. First requires you use a separate remote, second is to use the software provided with the camera and the camera needs to connected to a laptop or desktop computer. If using 2nd option the camera can save pictures direct to harddrive of computer or memory card.
