Good for Jurgen Prochnow! and good for Das Boot I reaad the book from Lothar Gunthar Buckheim it was was excellent! I see why Das Boot is a classic! It is based on actual events unlike some lying propaganda and these poor boys went through a war for something they did not fully undestand and yet went through all terrible nightmares because of it! How evil war is and what tragedies it causes to poor innocent and brave mens lives.

Then you have either not understood the term 'parody' or have failed to play Silent Hunter 3 or 4. Either way you have misunderstood the entire point of this video series.

Unfortunately for you I was playing Silent Hunter from the very first part and Silent Hunter III was my favorite because it was one of the very few games that could be played in German. I love "Das Boot" and sorry if I don't get the catch in here but in a way its something like a blasphemy for me to see a master piece being "rewritten" in this way :)

I love this movie, its my favourite of all time, closely followed by Ghostbusters. This wasnt made as sacriledge to Das Boot, it was made as a comedy parody as if players of Silent Hunter 3 were the guys in Das Boot.
