i think too many people are getting ahead of themselves with this tea party movement. I like the ideas and principles behind it, but what i don't like is that people are trademarking the words "Tea Party" and forming PAC's and conventions around the movement. People all over are trying to gain control over it by diluting the original message it stood for in the first place and it could really steer it in the wrong direction very fast. Scott Brown jumped on this train, and he's a fake. He won.
This is true. I remember the first Tea Party i can remember back in Dec 07 where people were protesting government policies...and BUSH was in office at the time! somehow Fox jumped on the movement, claimed it as its own and now neocons have joined the party.
The tea party has now become was it was originally was created to protest.
Peter's talk about sacrificing productive resources to continue to prop up a ballooning government sounds a bit like how the world in Atlas Shrugged collapsed.
Yes, the government is nonproductive, and that is true for Obama, who never had a productive job in his life--community organizer, to boot, with no boot to spend. There is no money, Mr. Stop stealing from those who have. Sink to the botrtom of hellllllllllllllllll.
Y\es, respect China, Mr. President, don't sell arms to their enemies. What is your sense of diplomacy?--Zero. Retire the old progressive lady/non-lady, Clinton. Work on decebt relations with other counteries. No global warming, that is for sure.
The best service al Quaida could perform for America is to bomb, atomically, the whole capitol hill, and wipe out the wipers in the White House?. Then the true people could take over their salient affairs, manage them wisely, and certainly not overspend, on Acorn and the like wipers. Or, perhaps that is exactly what Obama is preparing--the destruction of our Republic, so he can raise a socialist/communist/fascist police state, all for the good of...whom?
Yes, it is stupid to guarantee student loans. Let them work for their education, earn your privileges, no, good education is not a privilege, or a right, at all, but hard-earned profit, if you know how to use the BA to earn anything at all. An MA?--it used to be standard--no longer...

The tea party has now become, what it was originally intended to protest.

Why don't the citizens of the US do that for themselves instead of waiting for someone else to rescue them?
