  • @wismgism While there is only one true CBG, like Santa Claus he has representatives all over the world who strive to maintain his high standard of doucheiness.

  • Brick and Mortars will always lose you money if you go in to buy, sell, or trade. They mark up to maximize profit whereas online sites and services are flooded with multiples of the same merchandise. Going into a story is only good if you feel like getting out of the house for a walk but comic shops and the like are a dying breed.

  • @LizTaylorsGhost Very true. I don't even feel bad about it for the most part as in past decades I've been gouged like everyone else. Of course Ebay sucks if you're a seller.

  • I dont care the value of my books. It is there entertainment that is the best thing.

  • rename to 40 year old virgin the revenge

  • @mikelang15

i have to completely disagree that Batman TAS sucked and for what it was, xmen was pretty good as well. the animation for xmen wasn't that great but the stories were surprisingly good and accurate to the comics for a syndicated kids show. as for batman, the animation was incredible and even after it was simplified and "cheapened" it still remained pretty good. the first two to three seasons of batman with paul dini were great and it wasn't until after superman that it suffered

  • @mikelang15

You make me smile... I often think this in my darker moments.

  • Right you are about the Price Guide! But I disagree on your opinion about back issues versus trade paperbacks. I personally prefer owning both. The TP for the story, the back issue for owning a piece of Golden, Silver or Bronze Age magic.

  • This really should be on DVD.

  • Because this doesnt scream nerdy at all

  • I'd rather have the FF#53 Thank you very much! It's the Real thing. The look, the smell, it was there in 1966..the trade wasn't! You can buy books of stamps..but..I rather own them as well.

  • man I want those mysterio figures!

  • Not all people live in america where there are great shops like that. Some of us are forced to use "evil bay" because it is the only alternative. So fuck him

  • We are supporters of the collectible stores, and its sad to see that so many are having to shut down because they are run out of business by sites like Ebay and Amazon. The problem is, collectible stores are business', and the thing about a business is that it takes money to run them. They have to charge more money for each item than Ebay and for that reason people turn to the internet for items. A figure that can run only $120 on ebay can go for as much as $200+ at stores. Its just business.

  • Wrestling is rubbish!

  • NO.

  • hey were is that shop because am going to america next week so coment

  • when he says "evil bay"....does he mean Ebay? I like ebay; I've sold and bought tons of stuff from Ebay; no problem; of course you get the occasional horror story; but it's the nature of ANY business dealings...c'mon...

this vid doesn't explain why he said it.....ebay helps a lot of people in far flung communities who don't have a comic book/collectible store nearby....

    am leaving this vid;

  • Ebay is great, it honestly keeps the collecting world going. Personally Im not much of a comic book fan, I cant imagine spending more than $3 on one. This guy is just another collector...what he says in these videos are just his opinion.

  • dis a real shop its good annit jeez like to c in flesh

  • you know every comic or collector toy store i ever see or go in has a ton of carded 90s POTF figures that no one on earth wants. probably the most unwanted toy line ever. i cant give my old ones away.

  • I love those figures.

  • i despise when people say evilbay. at least 90% of my collection ive gotten on ebay and usually at not bad prices. in the late 80s early 90s there were some nice little fleamarket collector stores in town and i use to love them. but eventually around the late 90s they vanished and theres nowhere around here to go now. when they were open i went for years and never found ALOT of the things i was looking 4 anyway whereas the last 10 years i found most of the things on ebay quickly & mostly cheap.

  • true; check my comment I just posted; this guy thinks he's righteous or something; dissing ebay.

  • if it weren't for ebay most of us wouldn't have any real access to collectables. not many of us collectors have the luxury of a large metro area with vintage toy shops or even comic stores for that matter

    .

  • @aduecey ..sad but true.. :(

  • @aduecey This is one of the few things I have heard online that makes perfect sense. No argument.

  • i like this docu ;p

  • I guess I'm pretty supplied when it comes to collectibles for me. I've got 2 collectibles shops a half hour away from me, a comic book shop 15 minutes away from me, and a good vintage shop an hour from me.

  • I love star wars and wwe wrestling espeically the orignal era.subed
