It was posted by a doctor who works at a facility specializing in treating people with manic depressive disorder, but I didn't see anywhere on the site that he/she claims to have actually treated Cobain. Instead, the doctor reviews Cobain's suicide note, and makes various observations about the text of the note, coming to the conclusion that it is consistent w/ manic depressive suicide. Proof he had the disorder, or just opinion? You decide.

During Cobain's last days, he is also believed to have spent time at his second home (which was being finished) in Carnation, Washington-where a sleeping bag was found. There are questions about his death but I think that if someone killed Kurt, how did it? An opiate tolerance can keep climbing....... There have been extreme cases of opiate addicts taking more than a GRAM of methadone just for maintenance..... thats 1,000 mg!!!!! Thats 100 times more than a normal dose of 10 mg..
I'm not ruling out the possibility of murder, but I can't stand it when people talk about "three times the lethal dose of heroin" --- Three times the lethal dose for WHO? someone without a tolerance? sure.. but from the bios i've read, i gather kurt had a BIG tolerance.
2. 1000mg orally of a drug is not the same as a 1000mg delivered intravenously.
3. Kurt had a blood morphine level of 1.52 mg/L, which means he would have had to have injected at least 220 mg of heroin. No recorded cases of anyone surviving with that amount of heroin long enough to pick up any gun, let alone a shotgun and shoot themselves.

It was posted by a doctor who works at a facility specializing in treating people with manic depressive disorder, but I didn't see anywhere on the site that he/she claims to have actually treated Cobain. Instead, the doctor reviews Cobain's suicide note, and makes various observations about the text of the note, coming to the conclusion that it is consistent w/ manic depressive suicide. Proof he had the disorder, or just opinion? You decide.

I think he knew on some level she put the rohypnol in his drink, when he woke up in he hospital he wrote her a note saying "Fck you." There was no love in that relationship in the end. Best friend, hah.

Whatever happened, happened. It is none of our buisness to get into that. Though I think it is stupid and cruel to not find out for sure what happened. Not just the investigators give up and not find anything. I think that kinda thing would make Kurt haunt his house. Then again maybe not. Maybe it was suicide. We will never know. I do love Kurt Cobain. I imagine me hugging him so he will rub off on me. He is a wonderful musician. But then again he did't want a label.

During Cobain's last days, he is also believed to have spent time at his second home (which was being finished) in Carnation, Washington-where a sleeping bag was found. Next to it was a picture of the sun drawn in black ink above the words "Cheer Up", and an ashtray filled with cigarettes - one brand was Cobain's, the other wasn't. There are questions about his death but I think that if someone killed Kurt, how did it? Grabbed Kurt's arm and overdosed him with heroin, injected into him the triple amount of lethal and then shot him? We could ask that if it was murder, what was the shot for? The drug would be enough him to die. I believe it was a suicide, the shot proves it. Kurt wanted to make it for sure. Sadly.

An opiate tolerance can keep climbing....... There have been extreme cases of opiate addicts taking more than a GRAM of methadone just for maintenance..... thats 1,000 mg!!!!! Thats 100 times more than a normal dose of 10 mg..
I'm not ruling out the possibility of murder, but I can't stand it when people talk about "three times the lethal dose of heroin" --- Three times the lethal dose for WHO? someone without a tolerance? sure.. but from the bios i've read, i gather kurt had a BIG tolerance.

2. 1000mg orally of a drug is not the same as a 1000mg delivered intravenously.
3. Kurt had a blood morphine level of 1.52 mg/L, which means he would have had to have injected at least 220 mg of heroin. No recorded cases of anyone surviving with that amount of heroin long enough to pick up any gun, let alone a shotgun and shoot themselves.
I recommend that you read the article by chemist Roger Lewis "Dead men don't pull triggers."

@shazzadee ---- You could very well be right; I'm not here to argue..... but if I'm not mistaken, I remember watching a video once where they showed this medical archive footage of a heroin addict whose tolerance had climbed to a ridiculous level, and they showed him balancing on one foot,and acting perfectly normal.... and they were saying how he had enough heroin in his system to kill several opiate-naive people.....
In theory, couldnt his tolerance have gotten insanely high?

A lot of dope addicts use for a while, and then are forced to kick, and withdrawal because they cant afford the habit, or they get arrested, etc....
Kurt was a millionaire; he could afford all the heroin he wanted.... Dylan Carson said he had no real motive to quit b/c its not like he had to rob stores for $,etc
