I'm so happy for you, Jasmine! I wish I could visit your specialist. I'm due for new glasses -already have an "open" prescription- but now I have to sit down at my trusted optician's offices and work out with him what'll be best....I can't buy the lot!! But I don't have headaches or dizziness, I cured that with an array of soft pillows for sleeping. I have an incipient cataract in one eye, apparently it'll be several years before it needs surgery. No idea why I used to have the bad headaches!
@silviaevelina Thank you, Silvia. I wish you could see Dr Debby too. She is working on a book that will hopefully teach others about Vertical Heterophoria.
I'm so happy for you. I know how much your glasses have helped you after all of those years of severe symptoms and I hope they keep helping you be less dizzy and to have less headaches! :)
The pain areas and levels change, depending on triggers (ones I can control and those I cannot). But typically, the constant background head pain is like a tightening vice behind and above my eyebrows, and the top of my head.
Before the glasses I would bump into walls, run over curbs..klutzy basically. My depth perception was off, so I wasn't aware of where I was in time and space 24/7, therefore dizzy.
I'm so happy for you, Jasmine!! A great 2012 coming up for you. ((hugs))

Where was the head pain? I get head pain above my eyes, and my eyes feel tight.

What was your dizziness like before getting the glasses? Was it constant 24/7 dizziness?
