Even if someone, say a boyfriend or partner, told me I was there favourite person -to what extent does is that valid? Have they truly thought over every person in their life, every family member or friend?
I think to decide whether or not you're someone's favourite person, you have to reflect on what you mean by favourite. Does it mean the person you like the most? And in terms of liking someone, is it a romantic or platonic or familial attatchment? Is your view of this person coloured by your situation in life at the moment? Can we ever have one person that we feel so strongly about, in any of the aforementioned ways, that we distinguish them above anyone else in our lives?

I beleive that everyone is and has a favorite person or persons. I aso beleive this statement to be untrue, because human beings exist in comparison to each other displaying unique qualities as well as unique inequalities. I guess what this all revolves around is compatibility with each other, Just by veiwing this video, i was able to see unique qualities such as empathy and concern. i hope this helps you

I sincerely beleive that everyone is and has a favorite person.i also beleive the previous statement is not true. reason being that every human exists in comparison to each other, retaining their own unique qualities while displaing unique inequalities aswell. I guess what all this all revolves around is a persons compatibility with another.

I don't know why but after seeing only two of her videos i see more pain in her eyes then happiness, i am not talking about physicall happiness because material shit does not make ANYBODY happy, unless you are under severe mind-control.

I know how you feel (or felt, this video's old). There are very few people I can relate to living in a small town and at times little uncertainties like this can feel suffocating. In fact, besides obvious loved ones like family, I'm not even sure who my favorite person is. I wanna say my best friend, but to say one person in a lifetime is the best, there's so much to factor in. Good and bad. Then, I guess that's why it makes it easier to doubt if you'd be someone's favorite.

I find it sad that I can't answer the question with more pondering or thought, but to me, that is the most honest answer I can pull together without truly defining, and understanding the main term of the question - favourite. I don't think it's sad not to be anyone's favourite, or to not have a favourite; but I do think it's wonderful if you can say yes to both questions with any kind of assurance or confidence in your answer. Good luck finding your favourite person, and becoming someones.

Please continue to ask yourself these things, I have no webcam or filming equipment so this is my response to the question. I don't think I'm anyone's favourite person, nor do I believe I consciously have a favourite person. There are those who I will forever hold dear, and those who I feel close to at the moment but I don't think I will ever be able to distinguish one person in my life and hold them above all the rest.

With everyone having such differing and infinitely broad definitions of "favourite" how can we possibly define it? Is it even a valid question to ask? Would it not be better, and more revealing to ask - who is the person emotionally closest to you, or who knows you best/who do you know best? At the same time, the question "Are you anybody's closest friend?" Limits the idea of favourite person to platonic relations and the responses to your video have been people saying their partners or lovers.

I loved your video, and admired your honesty; I also share the inspiration of the short film which made me question my relationship with the people I hold closest in my life but at the same time, during my meditation on the subject, decided that it is an impossible question to answer.
Even if someone, say a boyfriend or partner, told me I was there favourite person -to what extent does is that valid? Have they truly thought over every person in their life, every family member or friend?

I think to decide whether or not you're someone's favourite person, you have to reflect on what you mean by favourite. Does it mean the person you like the most? And in terms of liking someone, is it a romantic or platonic or familial attatchment? Is your view of this person coloured by your situation in life at the moment? Can we ever have one person that we feel so strongly about, in any of the aforementioned ways, that we distinguish them above anyone else in our lives?

Molly. You're young and all of this seems important but you'll get older and eventually you'll have had many experiences {some good/some bad} and you'll realize all these questions don't mean sh*t. Maybe some day you'll have an injury of some kind or you'll be sick or someone you love will be sick and you won't give a cats a*s who your favorite person is. All you'll care about is getting up in the morning and feeling well enough to drink and enjoy a cup of coffee. You'll see.
