  • The russian has unlock this maneuver in 1977 with Flanker. Then almost 30 years later the US just figured it out with the vacuum cleaner Raptor.

  • 8min30 seg THIS IS A FLAT SPIN !!!!! Su-35 at MAKS 2011

  • not so hard to recover with thrust vectors you can get the nose down to recover

  • god bless thrust vectoring

    and america

  • that was sex!

  • the only thing that would make this better is if they wherent playing gay music i mean come on at least some motley crue :[

  • wow... Iran doesn't stand a chance!

  • 00:23 thats what she said

  • i just saw before this a MIG 29 do that four times more speed in less space.

  • a mig 29 could lose control more easier then the F-22 Raptor a mig 29 lost control and hit the ground while in a dog fight with a F-15 in the first gulf war.

  • I agree with you they lose control more easier, but not always, and they do it with more speed, and as you say it was agains`t an F 15´, but the mig don`t have so much tecnology as the F`15 and 22.

  • How exactly, it uses computer aided control

  • @aaronh257 MiG is easy to control. Hungarian MiG pilots say to me. If is real what you write, its have one factor. The pilots. Hungarian MiG-21 pilots training to MiG-23: 16 two seater flight they go to the first single flight,Russian instructors like Hungarian pilots, because they are so talented.Yemen, and other arabic pilots must fly 150 two seater take off with instructor, before the first single seater take off.

  • lmfao... send video id like to c it... mig 29 talk about rusky shit

  • comparing any of the Flanker series of aircraft to an F22 is like comparing a Honda to a Ferrari. Seriously folks get a clue.

  • Su-27 is _light_...?

40k lbs DRY WEIGHT is LIGHT?! That's an F/A-18 that ate an F-16 for breakfast.

The F-22 is EIGHT THOUSAND POUNDS lighter dry weight than ANY member of the Flanker family.

The Su-27/30/33 is so maneuverable because Sukhoi shows up to every demonstration it can with 2500lbs of gas in the tank to minimize its wing loading, so it doesn't get shown to be the fat slob that it is in a combat configuration.

Be sure and come back when you get a clue.

  • @absolutlunatic Very true. A demo I find interesting here on the Tube is the Super Hornet demo with a full loadout. Pretty cool to see a jet that is loaded for combat put on a nice air show demo.

  • @absolutlunatic Im a Raptor lover myself so don't get upset of what I have to say.The su-27(s) has a LEX just like the f-18 but larger and more conform. Also the center of gravity and center of lift are in different places than the f-22 so the maneuvers are going to look a little different because of the way the aircraft creates torqe in a kulbit or pugachev cobra etc.

Since the su-27 is approved for semi-finished runways it also has to have a low stall speed.which = good post-stall maneuvers

  • @absolutlunatic In shows F-22 has also no max fuel load...

  • @gomsc011 Actually, standard procedure for the Raptor demo - regardless if there is a Heritage Flight after the demo or not - is to start with the aircraft fully fueled.

  • @absolutlunatic

    Exactly mate:D!

But there are very few to understand that about the tremendous weight effects, while most of them get amazed by the manoeuvers, not knowing the true facts of them;)!

    Cheers!

  • @absolutlunatic dude the f22 is the best and you know it than its the f15 than f16 than you could start talking about the migs and russia copys dissigns and softwar 10 to 15 years after the craft is made

  • @absolutlunatic When your head is not up your ass, go look at the actual specifications of the F-22. It is 19,700 kilograms dry weight. The Flanker is 16,000.

  • @Wellwellwellwell1 False. The USAF noted (read: politicized) weight of the F-22 is in excess of 40k. Every independent source, NASA, who tested the aircraft extensively for scientific purposes (requiring such data be accurate), and Janes, who source their numbers direct from LockMart, list it at 31700 lbs.

Lockheed targeted 30k for the F-22; they didn't overshoot that number by a third. Remove your head from Wikipedia's ass, get real sources, then come on back.

  • Su-27 family is so manuevourable because it is VERY light and has a powerful engine which leads to=VERY POWERFUL FIGHTER JET.

  • Well so is the F-15, and the F-22 is far more powerful than both the SU-27 & F-15...the only reason the SU-27 family seems more maneuverable is because of it's tail-heavy design...but the F-15 has a higher sustained turn-rate, which is more useful in a "turn-and-burn" dogfight than post-stall maneuvers

  • Su-37 is much more maneuverable

  • no....no it's not

  • lol it can lose lose control moving so fast

  • all that fly-ability.. and the jet still ends up on the scrap heap.

  • he proboly wouldn't perposely go in a flat spin in any other jet see as it's easier to get out of a flat spin with a plane with thrust vectoring

  • yep he has balls... maybe more then 2 xD

  • wow

  • that.. is fuckin amazing.

how he has the balls to do that so close to the ground i dont know
