@erkishmusta gunships are much faster and good for probing a base rather than losing tons of units in a head on assault. Besides that, they make great support units for wiping up stray units and assisting with AA coverage for your land or sea forces.

The game just needs a VERY powerful processor....a good processor can be a dual-core clocking like 2.80 Ghz, an EXCELLENT one can be a quad-core clocking like 3.0 or higher.....however in an hour u could also build some more defenses, there are no shields, no T2 arty, no water and land defenses.....however u both focused ur strategy on attack and that isn't a bad way to win but in this game.....WHO WON ? :-S

Cant believe supcom 2 is in development. For starters they need to show some support for Forged Alliance which is in desperate need of patching due to performance sapping fog of war. I won't be buying SupCom 2 unless FA gets some attention sharpish. They've left it poorly optimized as it is, do they really think people will just buy a brand new PC whenever they bring out a new game?

Red, while i agree with you, if you are playing a 8 person map with a 500 unit cap each, your rig has to deal with a HOLY FUCKTON of particle effects, physics generation, sound code and the kickass supcom graphics.

I would say, 15-25fps if you are lucky in that situation. Any other and it'll run it fine.
