No they didn't. MGM studios sent a notice to the producers, the contents of which has never been released. We can assume though it was a c&d notice given that a later episode following on from this one toned down the references to Bond.

He spoke in great detail about this at a convention in Pittsburgh when asked, when do we see this again? The answer not - MGM (ownes Bond) sued Paramount... which is pretty lame, he thought so too. Bashir is cool in real life

MGM can't take a joke they can bite it, did they sue Michael Myers for Austin Powers too? They actually get buzz and get fan interest from spoofs like this, and it was a loving spoof, not a mocking one. I loved it.
