it doesnt look like u get much speed with those batteries i want to get a savage flux hp. iu have never had a rc that can do wheelies or standing backflips. does thios one do it with those batteries?
@jacobtraxxasman, I wasn't going full throttle most of the time. It goes about 40mph / 65kmph on stock set-up with 4S. This car can indeed do wheelies and standing backflips (have another movie of that on my channgel). I would just buy some Turnigy 2S 30C, dirt cheap and they will perform awesome!
Nice vid. I'm thinking about selling all of my Nitros and my 1/5th scale 26cc gasser and get a flux. I'm moving to a condo so nitro/gas fuels is a big no no. Plus I'm tired of lackluster reliability of nitro, my 1/5th has high maintenance costs. But the fast that I can run for 3-4 hours straight is a huge luxury i may not want to give up. What 2x2s lipo packs did you use (mAh) and how long do they last? I'm thinking to get long bash sessions I would need 6x packs and an extra charger....
@Shervy2k, In this video I was running two 2S 8000mAh 25C LiPo in serie. Currently I'm using an Flux XL with a single 4S pack. You can bash for around 30 minutes unless your pinning the throttle continously. A good / fast charger can charge your packs in 30 minutes. So three LiPo's would be sufficient when you can charge on location. Besides Turnigy 2S LiPo's cost like $25 a piece and they perform awesome so it's not that expensive.
i know that, but they only offer express shipping which is 300$ and 150$ discount is kinda lame then lol. i'll get mine off tcscrawlers, it's only 570$ and some sweet tvps with it :D
So far (after some months of bashing) I've broken:
- 1 lower arm
- 2 diff pinions (1 rear and 1 front) replaced now with Cen Diffs.
- The plastic end on a turn buckle on the back
So that's extremely nice, especially if you see what this truck has endured so far. It's a great truck that you will not regret. Also, I think HPI is putting new diffs in the stock Fluxes so breakage there will be very small!
Mooie scherpe vid, goeie camera en zo,n Flux is top. Heb zelf een brushless E Revo maar denk dat ik dat ik ook voor een Flux spaar, hij is toch beter voor ,t ruigere werk.
Thanks man! I already had a Traxxas Rustler VXL but this is a whole other cup of thee. The power is incredible. The mountains were pretty hard to climb with the Rustler, this thing just flies on there like it's nothing. Also check out my other vids for more bashing ;)

nice vid. do u know a rough estimate of top speed with stock batts?
wilddagger550 1 year ago
@wilddagger550, the Flux doesn't come with any batteries stock so topspeed will be 0.

top speed on 4S?
sskv2 1 year ago
@sskv2 , depends on your gearing, underground etc. But it's about 65kmph / 40 mph, also see my speedruns.
