He was very lucky to get away so unhurt, all those rounds to the chest should have blown him to pieces. I saw a similar thing happen to a friend in Nam. I think thats where they got the idea for this scene from. Great scene, just great.

This is the dumbest scene ever! Why doesn't the guy die sooner? It takes like a thousand shots to kill him, and even before that he doesnt show enough pain for what is actually happening...I mean, if you got your arm shot off I think you'd lose some energy and probably show more pain and agony. Jesus, that was stupid!
plus have you ever heard of shock or adrenelin ? there very powerfull pain killers. I've had a few bad accidents before and not felt a thing at the time but a while later is when the pain kicks in !
dont forget he has body armor on and he really doesnt have time to react to his arm getting shot off before the rest of the gang joins on on joyously murdering him
Well its more like about 50 shots. And he really doesn't have any reaction time after his arm is hilariously severed from his body before they all join in on killing him. When they shot his hand off he probably instantly went into shock and couldn't process all of the pain. But I doubt Clarence and company were going to wait to see how much pain he was in before joyously blowing him apart limb by limb (and then asking him if it hurt)
