  • why is her tempo so erratic: fast and slow.....one steady tempo or speed please.

  • The link to Joseph Lamb's rendition of the piece has changed. It's now at folkways...

The music there is available for purchase, not for free downloading.

  • I admire your touch to ragtime.

  • Sue Keller just won an award yesterday for her contributions to popularizing ragtime.

  • that was beautiful sue

  • Sue is OK, but listen to the late John Arpin's version to get the message.

  • I liked this speed, it was slow enough to hear and enjoy every note, but fast enough to keep it going.

  • @pianomike1 yeah, also Bohemia rag, Sue mentioned John Arpin when she performed it a while back, but personally I can't decide which is better, I love them both, one isn't 'better' than the other, they're just 'different' if you know what I mean, two different styles but to me they both sound brilliant in their own way.

  • I want to this music. How can i have sheet music?

  • - want to play

  • Sue indeed plays this piece quite a bit differently than the composer did. I've updated the info block on this video to include a link for those interested in hearing how Joe Lamb actually played it.

  • it's interesting how differently ragtime tunes are interpreted from one player to the next.

  • Amazing.
