I admire and respect the aim of 'community' being at the forefront of their plans, at the risk of being churlish I would say that a majority of clubs, a vast majority at that, are already firmly based on those foundations, even P*mpey.

Sky ruined United as it has done Chelsea and all the other 'big boys' and I have to say that last season in the 3rd division is right up there with the european years and cup runs of yesteryear. It is great fun.

Taunting isn't a word we would describe as this.

It's friendly banter. At FC United we've all grown to know each over the past 5 seasons. You would be very surprised if you went to a game on how much of a family we are.

We do support our club/team but as we never stop singing we always find time to have banter between us seen as though we hardly get away supporters that make any noise or are so far down the Mainstand we can't hear them.

Our best crowd was 6000 although we had to play that at OAFC. Our average crowd for last season just shaded the previous season's. We failed in our promotion bid for the first time last season but we're going up as champions this time. Margy said.......

Best place is in the ground in Starkies bar. Renamed by us as Course You Can Malcolm. You need to be a member of FC to get in or you can be signed in by a member.

We have a live band on or comedian and there's strong ales in there, better than what you see in the pubs.

The difference between the MRE and the Mainstand;

The Mainstand you will find a lot of old skool reds, mid 30's to 50's. The piss pots stink of piss and they think they're cool!

MRE is better for a continuous atmosphere, it's where I stand and it's where the chants start. The Mainstand follow where we lead.
