  • to any skeptics...i am proof that this works. i have had the most unbearable upper back pain for the last 6yrs due in part to my bad posture. not having health insurance, i could only resort to stretching and massaging, but that brought relief for a few hours. i've suffered from chronic headaches and had problems breathing. i tried this and the very NEXT day, my back was much, much better. thank you so much.

  • Good points. Also remember to raise the shoulders to within 1 or 2 inches of the chin. This is not a so called nervous gesture. You are only positioning your body appropriately when raising your shoulders. This also removes the area between the head and the shoulders so you won't have a overly long neck. If you removed the trapizius muscle buildup of some people, you'll note that there is too much distance between the shoulders and the chin. Just saying... I've been through it.

  • wut this guy says is true.. these kind of exercises will yes relive you of the tension somewhat. but for just how long? I signed up for personal trainer and workedout for 2 weeks. although i got a ..year long membership. and you know what? yes 10 min bike ride at 80+ rpm, 2 sets of lunges, 2 sets of squats, 3 sets of lat pull down, 2 sets of dumbell rows, and 2 deadly sets of deadlifts. and very little days focus on legs. i prefered upper body and he said yes. i felt i got enough from lunges.

  • Don't confuse narrow shoulders with bad posture -- if you look at the side view you can see his shoulders are back and he has pretty good range going back with his arms.
