I'm not sure what it is with bands doing many of their hit songs at a much faster tempo than the original. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. I'm not totally sold on this one, but I still like the Smashing Pumpkins.

ich war bei rock im park un bin in der mitte vom auftritt ungefähr gekommen un war geschockt und hab hab mir den arsch abglacht was eine scheisstimmung und wie wenig da los war im gegensatz zu z.b. beatsteaks. auf jeden fall konnte ich ohne probleme von ganz hinten in den 1. wellenbrecher rein und dort auch ganz vor.tja

Das glaube ich dir gerne. Ist halt keine Musik für den durchschnittlichen RaR-Gänger. Ich bin geneigt das Sprichwort "Perlen vor die Säue" zu bemühen. Auch wenn's FKP Scorpio finanziell das Genick gebrochen hätte, die und Pearl Jam dieses Jahr auf dem Hurricane wäre einfach legendär. Zwei der einflussreichsten Bands der 90er... Man wird ja noch träumen dürfen... =)
