yes it is he is my idol and I know that this is him it is different on the cd because this is from the movie higher ground and he is with alot of ither singers that are different from the cd and different singers were with him when he sang it on the cd and movie so that explains why it is differennt buy fly and by the way this is the real john denver my idol and not a fake one

Higher Ground it was a movie I think in 1987 not shure on the year but it was the late 80's and I don't think it is buyable except on e-bay or Amazon

i wish i was in a lodge and 50 people magically knew the words to an obscure john denver song and then we all started singing it and john denver walked in with his guitar...and everybody was dressed like it was 1988...good times haha

Aww you're welcome :) Maybe I could find a way to make a copy on DVD for you...I'd just have to figure out how! lol. Technology and me...don't exactly get along. lol. Higher Ground is a good movie, though my favorite JD movie I ever saw and wish I had darn it, was Foxfire. Such a beautiful movie.

:) I will see what I can do. I recently purchased one of those video to DVD burners at Walmart with my birthday money and will have to go out and buy some blank DVDs...though it may take some time because I am making a move across the country from Oregon to Iowa in a few days! And it may take a while to get settled in lol. But I promise I will do what I can. ;)

If you google these keywords: "My John Denver Archive Video Collection" and click the first link on there, it will take you to a website where there are all kinds of JD movies for sale, including the movie Higher Ground, which is DVD #2 if I remember correctly. I was lucky enough to get Higher Ground for my birthday. Nah, don't you worry, keep your money I will make a copy of the film for you on DVD & hey maybe I could make some copies of other JD movies for you too when I find the time. :)
